IAB is either in the crazy store (Not pictured here) or in the gutter, depending on which post you are looking at.

"In my day, phones were connected to the wall via a cord. If you needed to make a call, you found a payphone or you went home. "

the amazing thing is that we still managed to stay connected and up to date about our friends`s lives. and we were able to MEET in person on time at the right place without a mobile phone / sms.

Bassman: I really hope you don`t start complaining about the telephone and the post office next...

The internet (and technology bla bla) isn`t good or bad, it`s just how you use it :p

So, bassman56, why do you have to see someone`s face for your interactions to be worthwhile? Blind people must not have any real friends.

Anyway, I wasn`t suggesting that people never leave their computer. I`m saying that ebay is more efficient than a shopping mall, facebook is more efficient than getting all of your friends together at a park, shopping on amazon is more efficient than going to a book store, youtube is more efficient than going to the movies...and so on. You get the idea. The key is to make sure you`re taking advantage of the internet`s uses without sacrificing an active lifestyle.

In the Outernet bullies don`t just call you bad names. They punch you in the head and give you swirlies, melvins and steel real stuff.

So, Dr. Professor, what`s the internet equivalent to real face to face human interaction?

And yet, the internet equivalencies are all more efficient and specifically catered to your interests.

ebay is more of a flea market than a mall, and wikipedia is the library

google is more like the visitor center telling people where to go

"where is I-A-B on that map?"

Hmmmm... A stick figure running around in a trench coat, and randomly opening it to the shock of other stick figures perhaps?
