Flawed logic here, but I like the direction this person is thinking...

haha yeah, `half seven` = 7.30, apparently it`s exclusively a british thing.
like norwegian, `halb sieben` german is 6.30.
confusing.

"My bodyclock wakes me up at half 7 every morning."

Half 7? Is that really how you say 7:30 over there?

I am guilty for hitting that snooze button a few times.

An Ode to my clock:

I promise never to ask "Why?",
I will only ask you "When?".
And you seem to be partially aware,
That I prefer my numbers base 10

But when alarmed, i`ve noticed perhaps,
You refuse to allow me to choose.
It`s only nine minutes elapsed,
`Til again you allow me to snooze.

I don`t need an alarm clock. I`m a lousy bum who doesn`t work and sleeps in til about 1pm everyday.

I`m usually pretty good with getting up in the morning. My bodyclock wakes me up at half 7 every morning.

This is why I have an alarm clock for the deaf that shakes the bed like an earthquake. It doesn`t matter how poorly I`ve slept, I am not getting back to sleep after that thing goes off.

Why is the logic flawed? This would positively create less snooze button presses. Unless they were into self inflicted stigmata or something religy like that.

When your comfortable in bed, you can come up with 100 different reasons why that extra five minutes is going to mean all the difference in the world...

I used to set my alarm clock across the room, on a shelf. you will learn to sleepwalk to press snooze if the button exists.

I always wake up give or take a few minutes prior to my alarm going off.. Always have, haven`t actually heard the thing in a long time.

And just this morning (okay, noon) I conscientiously hit my alarm clock so many times that I woke up at the exact time I was supposed to be at work. F*ck. I don`t even remember hitting it. I`m sure I was sleep-hitting it. Time to set my phone alarm and place it on the other side of the goddamn room again. F*ck you, brain. F*ck you.

I regret nothing. 5 more minutes of sleep, hell yeah!

Or you could just get the hell out of bed when it goes off.....

It`s a good idea until you hit it out of habit. Do it and your day goes to hell before you`re out of bed.

has anyone ever had those dreams where in the dream you`re actually getting ready for work? Then the alarm goes off and you wake up but you`re really thinkig "oh sht, i have to go back to sleep or elese i`ll never finish getting ready for work."

I`ve had to put mine on the other side of the room so my subconscious doesn`t hit the snooze button and make me late. It`s a Wallace & Gromit clock, like this one here:

If I`m not quick enough, it gets to the end of the theme tune and starts all over again.
