Charlie Sheen is justified for being upset. The arena`s rule is stupid and unfair. If I were a judge, I would sentence the employee to F Charlie Sheen`s balls until they have been deemed to be sufficiently F`ed, as decided by an independent panel (let`s say TMZ).

I have to admit the bullsh|t this country puts smokers through is idiotic. They demand that they can`t smoke inside and then won`t allow them back in when they go outside for a smoke. He had a right to be pissed here.

    Smokers are treated like poo.

They do all these special things for people with problems/addictions. Do smokers get any special treatment? NO!

They have a problem. A disease if you will. Addiction is a disease, a handicap.

    Equal treatment is demanded!

No, but we are a diverse bunch with a wide variety of interests. You are of course entitled to your opinion of what is worthy of everyone`s attention. I note on your page you have not yet found a single submission which qualifies.

Holy crap. I agree with CrakrJak on something. Even though I don`t smoke I voted against our smoking ban. It went to far. If you have to be 25 feet away from any door in the city you can hardly find a place to smoke. Not allowing people to smoke at sports events is just asking for a riot. It is nicer going into bars without all the smoke though. But why can`t they have a filtered smoking room to go into? I hate the nanny state mentality.

Rules are rules, if you can`t watch a game without lighting up then you should maybe just watch at home where you can blacken your lungs as much as you want.

New York City. It`s legal to smoke, but they did ban smoking indoors and smoking outdoors as well.

Seriously. Whoopie Goldberg had HUGE fit when the total smoking ban went into effect. That and when they banned happy meals `cause she collects the toys.

@Gerry1of1 - The newer NYC smoking ban was for places like public parks, beaches, and other outdoor public places like that. As of now it`s not being enforced because a Smokers` rights group is threatening to sue the state.

@ whodat6484 - You mean public places like side walks, parks, open air markets.... In short, any place out of doors. Granted it stinks, but so does people BO and a lot of colognes. I don`t like the smell of indian food in front of their resteraunts {Love to eat it, just hate to smell it}. At a certain point, we have to start tolerating each others flaws.

Come on guys, it`s a sporting event. Do you think anyone wants to smell smoke when they`re in Staples Center? How do you think the players would feel if they were trying to play with tobacco smoke in the air?

Prussia, no one is saying they should smoke insided the stadium. But they could have a smoking area outside.

@Gerry1of1 - Yeah, that was also another point that was brought up while contesting it because the wording is so vague.

Exactly. Fence off a small area outside. No big deal.

Anyone who still smokes tobacco, considering what we know about it now, is an idiot.

Don`t get mad, just my opinion.

I don`t watch anything disseminated by TMZ. Sorry to have missed-out on it Gerry, but it looks like his smoking outdoors is at issue here.

This isn`t about smoking rights, Staples Center has designated smoking areas. They also have numerous signs, all over the place, that make it clear that if you leave the building you can`t re-enter. You know, kinda like every stadium or arena you`ve ever been to? Charlie just assumes `normal people rules` don`t apply to a "total bitchin’ rock star from Mars with tiger blood and Adonis DNA!"
