Boy Gets Backyard Beating For Not Catching Ball

Submitted by: kitteh9lives 4 years ago in Misc

Is this discipline or abuse? The stepfather is a director in the CA. IID. Points for the guy filming. Story in credits.

I`m not surprised that Oscar has kids either. He sounds like he would already get SOOO much tail. Nice!

What a bastard! Kudos to Oscar, I was worried that he was only going to film the entire time...

More people need to take a page out of Oscar`s book and intervene when you see something like this. It`s your neighborhood too.

Oscar - I love you!! Thank you so much for standing up for this little boy. It`s just unbelievable that parents can treat their children this way. Thank you for stepping up.

It sounded like the kid was saying, "I can`t breathe"

He probably slapped him across the stomach with that belt. I see no reason why this man should not be successfully prosecute. Also interesting to note how he stopped being a tough guy when confronted by another adult.

If the guy has some kind of prestigious job why is he living in such a non-prestigious house?

I can`t watch all of that. Having a seven year old of my own, I can`t imagine doing this to him.

Discipline or abuse? What a stupid question!

Good for him! I`m not one to get involved in parenting, to each their own, but he`s hitting him with something, not his hand, not to mention it`s over him not catching a ball--- no discipline needed! drating ass hat

First step in having a decent neighbourhood is having people who are ready to call it when they see it.

He can give the tape to child services for the evidence. I totally think he did the right thing by calling him out in front of the child.
When a child see that someone cares he is more likely to confide with an adult outside like teacher.
But the confrontation may lead to escalation of abuse inside the house where no one can see it.
It will be very satisfying to see the douch get beat up though.

I listen to kids testify about their sexual and physical abuse at least three days a week. You`d think I`d be to the point where I`m desensitized to it - but I`m not. That made me pissed.

Another stupid woman so terrified of being alone she allows this guy to wail on her child instead of stopping it. She may not be present there, but if the neighbors heard it she did inside as well. If she wasn`t home, well you know this was not the first time so she`s still culpable. Of course, if he hits the kid over little things like this he probably hits her to so...I say we kill him.

I`m with you, Rizzo71. Give me 10 minutes with this guy. I`d show him what happens to a guy who treats kids this way.

you can see the kid crying and it looks like he is in shorts, belt across bare legs for not catching the ball, and he is the stepdad. I hope BioDad puts a whipping on this POS.
