In 1994, Samuel L. Jackson was in the Al Pacino movie Sea of Love. This is how much they thought of Jackson"s character.

Yeah, EgalM nailed it, read the credits on any film and you`ll see sh*t like "Black Guy" "Drunk Girl" "Gas Station Attendant" "Redneck F*cking a Goat" ......

This is how it works, you write a script, you name everyone, sometimes it`s "black man" something it`s "old person". It`s not racist, they are just too lazy to name every single extra in the movie.

Now, if it was the N-word, than I would say racist, otherwise it`s grasping at straws.

Casting Guy: "We want you to play the black guy in a movie called Sea of Love." Sam: "Black Guy!? What the ff--" Casting Guy: "It has Al Pacino in it." Sam: "uuck Yeah I`ll do it!"

Even "Second Murdered Man" got higher billing. He must have been white.
