The "abortion has no time limit" isn`t entirely accurate. While we don`t actually have laws establishing time limits (kinda complicated when it could restrict a doctors ability to perform one to save the life of a mother), we do have strict medical standards.

The health care system saved me from death 10+ times last year. Tax all you want, I won`t bitch. I`ll donate.

For the love of God, don`t come to Canada if you`re that strongly against Obama. We don`t need that crap here.
"FYI the health care is NOT FREE they tax the poo out of us!"
Really? I don`t think the tax is that bad. It`s defiantly worth the peace of mind knowing that you can go see a doctor any time, and not have to worry about the cost.

haha on a related note, the number of Hindus in Canada is so small they don`t even report it as percentages; and what`s that? ... There`s apparently only 1 hindu guy in Nunavut. Awww

According to wiki... only 16.5% in the 2001 Census (the most recent one according to StatCan) reported no religion. Although in BC, that number is 44%, maybe that`s what they`re talking about?

Yeah. Alec Baldwin and about 5,000 other celebrity drattards said they would move to Canada if Bush was elected for a second term. He was, and they stayed.

I think the latest ipsos reid`s last poll said somewhere around 40%, but other polls have it as low as 7%, so idk which it is.

I don`t know how many people said to me (as seriously as they could) the same thing about Bush getting re-elected. The older I get, the harder it is to take politics seriously.

Not here Taylor.

In Alabama, if someone is in the process of committing a crime in your home, you can light him up.

Also, if someone you don`t want is there, and you ask him to leave, he has to go, or bang bang.
Tons of stupid laws protecting criminals. e.g. if I hurt someone who broke into my place, I`m the one who`s gonna end up in jail.
Those laws exist here too. The only way to really get away with hurting someone who broke into your house is if they pose a direct threat to your life, and even THEN you can still be in trouble if the cops believe you used excessive means. (i.e. The robber comes at you with a blunt object and you shoot him a dozen times.)

I have never heard of a single person who has threatened to move to Canada if Obama is re-elected. I do, however, recall a large number of Hollywood liberal f***tards who in 2004 threatened to move to Canada if Bush was re-elected, and the lying @$$holes never left.

- Alcohol is super expensive, and so is gas
- You think you pay too much tax in the US? hehe, just wait till you get here.
- Tons of stupid laws protecting criminals. e.g. if I hurt someone who broke into my place, I`m the one who`s gonna end up in jail.
- On a side note it`s next to impossible to own a gun here.

@The_Gent

Cannabis is not legal in Canada. It`s more tolerated than in the U.S., but less tolerated than Amsterdam (which still has laws against it, but the cops don`t care unless you`re causing trouble.)

No way in hell 45% of us are athiest. How do I know this you may ask...I am a athiest living in Canada...also a lot of Canadians are still against gay marriage and abortion. Were good with healthcare though!

45%? Un-holy crap, we`re doing well! I had no idea...

Yeah, life up here is pretty awesome, if you can get past the cold... which isn`t that hard really.

... Just leave your bigotry and most of your guns where ya got em`, ok?

Try Alberta first... they`re... more like you. Kinda.

Uh, yeah we do. Remember the guy on the Greyhound bus that decapitated the guy next to him and then ate parts of him? Technically, the victim wasn`t homeless but still pretty horrific

"Costa Rica. Now that`s a plan."
@Baelzar: That`s where I`m running to if things get too liberal in Canada! lolz!

But actually my former next-door neighbor tried to emigrate there and got rejected! idk why, I guess she didn`t bribe the right politicos...

"...here in Canada, we don`t have crazy people eating the face off of homeless people."

@Bunny_Knight: Only because they haven`t found the bodies yet. The Prairies are a BIG place... lots of room to hide them all...

MwaHahahaha! }-)

@lostinkorea: Like 5cats said, just because it`s legal to do 3rd trimester abortions doesn`t mean the doctors will agree to do it, and most won`t.

5cats is right, a supreme court case in 2004 struck down any abortion laws because it violated our Charter of Rights and Freedoms, saying that abortion laws deprived individual liberty.

vv @Crabes, @LostinKorea and @Faelwen too: There is NO LAW about abortion AT ALL in Canada, none.

If you can find a doctor to abort your full-term baby (and there`s plenty who`ll do it!) on your `due date` you`re legally good to go!

Yeah Canada is pretty "liberal" most of the time. Alberta! That`s where y`all Americans can move to!

Yeah, we perform abortions right up until the age of 17. Once the fetus reaches the age of 18, only they can choose to abort themselves.
