So ladies, the men and I got together and decided that letting you have that vagina has proved too much responsibility for you to handle. Better let us handle all that sweetheart.

You can switch ladies and men around, change vagina to penis, somehow it makes more sense. Damnit.

Newt Gingrich knows plenty about vaginas since he`s been in so many of them. Mitt Romney knows because, well, he IS one. I don`t know enough about them because I`ve only been a Gynecologist for 20 years!

@AJ: I was kidding anyway. I don`t like having my opinions fed to me either, especially from a "news" pundit, or an actor. I happen to agree with this video`s message, but only because it`s FoD are there famous people.

It`s like Stephen Colbert once said, "Parenthood shouldn`t be planned, rather it should be the result of a drunken bender on New Years Eve and the next thing you know you`re hanging up a mobile nine months later. You know, like God intended."

So then they believe that all women should have the rights do do with their bodies as they please without anyone telling them what they can and can`t do? Fantastic! I must tell my Republican friends that their beliefs regarding abortion, contraception, Planned Parenthood, etc. are actually not in line with Republican views! I thank you good sir for showing me the light!

    Well said @DromEd!

@QueenZira is quoting Colbert and Stewart? Wow, they sure are experts on what Republicans think, eh? Not leftist comedians at all!

I know! Lets NOT actually look at facts, lets get some liberals to pretend to be Republicans and make up stupid stuff!

That`s the thing about satire 5cats, to be funny first it has to be true. And Reality does in fact have a well known Liberal bias. (Stewart/Colbert)

So lets let the Reps defend themselves with their actual record, no? Agin` contraception, new crackdown on Choice in the states and @ the federal level and agin` the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. This is not a style issue, it`s not about Romney not appearing with enough women in photo ops, it`s not about disliking the color Pink. It`s a policy issue, and the polices stink.

But what do you care? After all, you`re a Canadian hoser eh right?

"I must tell my Republican friends that their beliefs regarding abortion, contraception, Planned Parenthood, etc. are actually not in line with Republican views!"

Abortion? Most conservatives believe it is a woman`s right to choose, but that it should never be used for contraception, so they default to pro life.

Contraception? Most conservatives simply believe that contraception should never be paid for by the government. Why should we subsidize sexual behavior? We would like to keep government out of the bedroom.

Planned Parenthood? That`s just a for profit organization that makes it`s money killing babies for sluts who can`t handle a child, but can`t stop drating.

Aj- Abortion- most conservatives see it as murder as life begins at conception. GAWD said so.

Contraception? They used to be all for it, curiously, in the `90s, but all the sudden le wild election year appears and suddenly women no longer can have the right to plan the births of their own children and control their own bodies. But if a man wants Viagra, then he gets it, because a boner is a GAWD given right.

Planned Parenthood does pap smears, breast cancer screenings, and abortion, although all of 3% of what they do is abortion. But thank you ever so much for calling women in need of this vital health care "Sluts who kill babies because they can`t stop phucking". You really couldn`t have tipped your hand in a more spectacular fashion.

Yep no War on Women- move on nothing to see here.

I`m a republican and a conservative and I don`t give a flying hoot what a woman wants to do with her vagina as long as she`s willing to pay for it herself. You want my money but you don`t want me to have a say in how it`s used. Well ain`t that rich. Oh yeah, just say no to government funded boner pills too.

*Everybody* pays for a decent society, point blank. If you want a special exemption on how you pay, special pleading as it were, then you need to let me pick and choose where every penny of *my* taxes go, preferably not to fund any more pointless wars.

Furthermore I was referring to other pseudoscience topics with that remark as well, a la AGW (I simply think the claims are exagerated) and creationism. People are fighting tooth and nail to have these topics covered in school and the books, so much so that they won`t even let legally binding decisions stop them. WHY? Because they paid for their children`s school with their tax dollars and they want a say in what is taught.

Contraception is not "dirt cheap". Depending on the method and the duration used it can be quite costly. Everyone of you con pennypinchers who whine and cry over spending money on domestic wellbeing (ala WIC) should be hop skipping and jumping on over to prevent any further expenditures.

So Planned Parenthood doesn`t cover the cost of the more expensive procedures?

Planned Parenthood especially helps low income women get contraceptives, but Reps want to defund PP. Go figure. Besides, allowing coverage is good policy for all women. Why is this even an issue?

Condoms are an exclusively male controlled contraceptive. Female condoms are harder to use and less effective. Some women (like those in abusive situations) don`t get to decide when and where they have sex, and for any woman, letting the man do the sole job of protecting her physical integrity is far too much to ask.

It`s Her body, it`s Her prerogative.

I don`t think people understand what being really poor is. Contraceptive`s may be reasonable priced for you but to someone that is really poor putting food on their plate or paying the electric bill is going to take precedence. Planned Parenthood is a godsend for some people.

@markust: "really poor" people don`t HAVE electricity... there is no one in the USA or Canada who can claim to live in the same poverty that much of the rest of the world lives in.
    It`s a fact.
I do understand what you`re saying, but think you need to think a little more about it.
If someone is too poor to afford a box of rubbers, and cannot figure out how to get free ones from dozens of possible sources? They`ve got a lot of problems. Obamacare won`t help them one little bit.

Unless you make below 250k. You don`t have to pay then. Right?

I was over generalizing. 51% of Americans pay NO income tax. They have an average income of around 30k. I agree, everyone should pay, something.
