So why not stick with 4-legged robots? More legs = more stability.

We already have robots(drone aircraft) patrolling the skies at the borders, and executing military missions. How long before the same capability exists on land ??

Well I should have said tracks and wheels are able to go faster and also factoring efficiency and stability. meh

Baelzar, Tracks or wheels can definitely go faster, but they aren`t able to traverse terrain as well as legs; legs are able to lift up and over stuff.
