So let me ask you, are you making the argument that these aliens expend time and money to come here using their extremely advanced technology that ends up looking like common place trash can lids or remote controlled toys? You are saying that they either don`t mind being seen by us or can`t help it, but don`t want to make public contact? Are you saying that extremely advanced, shy aliens are traveling across trillions of miles repeatedly in widely varying craft with widely varying modes of transportation for widely varying reasons is more probable than some idiot with LEDs on his remote control helicopter?

Critical thinking, it REALLY is an important skill!

Liquidglass and madest, you apparently missed the catch-all of "technology to overcome the power and time requirements". The power and time requirements are based on our current understanding. If they have the technology to overcome those limitations, then they are far more advanced than us. Much like in Liquidglass`s example of 15th century peasants comprehending our use of electricity.

So Liquidglass, you are wrong that I am confining my argument.

Madest, you are wrong because it is you who is framing UFOs within our current knowledge. You expect UFOs to be circular disks with lights all around the edges because our current implementations of flying vehicles which have lights around the edges. Read my ENTIRE post again.

Alien or not, Nat. Geo. film crews say `f**k` a lot.

U.F.O = Unidentified flying object.. So unless they know what it is, it is 100% guaranteed a U.F.O. to them. The term U.F.O is not nor has it ever been reserved for alien space crafts / ships.

Some of you might find this interesting.

My 5 year old daughter asked: "daddy, if UFO`s can travel from so far away, why would they need lights on their ships"
ETs aren`t real and neither is Bigfoot.
With Bigfoot I tend to agree, but it is entirely feasible that there are ETs out there, but the likelihood of them being here already is pretty slim.

avail9988: ETs aren`t real and neither is Bigfoot.

You`d be amazed at the number of people claiming to see aliens from just hanging a battery powered Xenon flash bulb(s) from under a weather balloon on a dark cloudless night (on a new moon).

How do I know? My uncle used to work for the FAA and was a bit of a prankster. One of his balloons even made the local news.

It never surprises me when people see lights in the sky (which should be familiar to people by now) and automatically assume ET. Occam`s razor.
Extraterrestrials? Not a chance. Once again, to travel to another star would require more power than that put out by a massive star OR it would require generational ships OR the technology to overcome the power and time requirements in which case they would be Godlike and YOU WOULD NEVER SEE THEM.
-----
The problem with statements like this is people apply our scientific knowledge to all life in the universe. When in fact we`ve only been around for a scratch in time. If we survive as long as dinosaurs roamed we will look back at our primitive knowledge and laugh.

Funny that even a tv crew with state of the art equipment can only get a fuzzy image taken in the dark.

"Right now your kind have even less evidence than the Bigfoot hunters." Stupidity at its best... Just close your eyes and pretend its not real right?

The whole aliens thing is so played out. Frankly its more likely US intelligence technology unreleased to the public if these things exist, so really, yawn.

Looked like a minor cloud to cloud lighting flash partly obscured by another cloud.

madest: Until you or some other `Alien Believer` shows up with an alien, dead or alive, and said alien is scientifically tested to be real, then maybe others will believe. Right now your kind have even less evidence than the Bigfoot hunters.

Probably fake. If you had footage of a ship, would you create a clip which was mostly the crew looking dramatically at the sky in the middle of the night, or would you show your amazing footage?

How can anyone trust anything trust any recording with the CGI we have now, even if it was real?

is it a UFO? of course it is a UFO. Undeniably so. What ever was in that footage was 100% an unidentified flying object.

Aliens are smart enough not to show up on radar, radio communication or anything, but for some reason they always have some derp alien at the controls who forgets to turn off the "space landing lights". Not for long - just a sec or two. Perhaps for the giggles. Who knows?

@nottaspy

I`m not giving my support or detracting from the video here.

But Nottaspy your logic is flawed in the fact that you`re expecting to explain something currently unexplainable by attempting to confine it to our current working knowledge, thus it`s not possible.

That`s like a 15th century peasant denouncing electronics as impossible simply because it lies outside of their knowledge at the time.

does anyone know if they went back in the day time to that location, just to see if there was something physical there?

National Geographic? Try Destination Truth.

UFO? Sure. This is one of the few videos I`ve seen where the cause is not immediately apparent.

Extraterrestrials? Not a chance. Once again, to travel to another star would require more power than that put out by a massive star OR it would require generational ships OR the technology to overcome the power and time requirements in which case they would be Godlike and YOU WOULD NEVER SEE THEM. They certainly would not appear as a circle of lights.

Come on people, wake up and stop letting yourself get duped.

so aliens can cross the universe but they cannot turn their damn lights off on their ships?

I actually do believe there is other life out there...there has to be but the idea that a alien race that advance would give themselves away by forgetting to turn off their lights or being unable to seems silly.
And Discovery is becoming the Guns and the Rednecks Who Love Them station.
Too true, I was bitching about this just today. Discovery Channel used to be great on science and nature content, now it`s all f*cking back-to-back Ice Road Truckers, Licence to Drill, Deadliest Catch, Mythbusters, Sons of Guns, American Guns, Bering Sea Gold etc et f*cking cetera. It`s went from a scientific educational channel to being a f*cking joke, that you can`t watch unless you have testosterone for blood and a pair of testicles where your brain used to be.

Sad dumbing down of what used to be a great channel.

Just because you say you are skeptic doesn`t mean you are lady. Getting all giddy over some vague flashing lights in the sky and believing it is a UFO isn`t exactly skepticism.
