Does anyone really know what traditional marriage is? What are the theological understandings?

We keep breeding people with downsyndrome too. So... They are superior? What about hare lips and club feet? Albinoism? All superior? Pretty sure I just reversed your theory.

@ RytWing - Your premiss is that Hetero is the stronger orientation over Homo because Hetero breeds. But your theory proves the reverse.

Hetero`s breed but keep making Homos so doesn`t that indicate that Homosexuals are superior? Homos are the next step in evolotion as evidenced by the fact we keep showing up no matter how society tries to weed us out.

Oh, and as a side note, gays do in fact breed. Most fo the gay parents I know are genetically related to their children. Not all adopted.

Thank you for not taking my hypothesis out of context and for being intelligent.
Just because something is observed in nature doesn`t make it ok for humans to practice. Take infanticide for instance. And then there`s vegetarianism. We all know that crap ain`t cool. JK.

@RytWing Recessive Genes make it more likely to spread without it failing. As seen by the theory that we split from primates thousands of years ago, just because there are two different ways of evolving/having genes doesn`t mean that the two won`t exist. (We also have the fact that homosexuality has been observed in nature at times, so it is a natural thing. I would source this, but sadly I don`t know where said source is... shame on me.)

On the premise that homosexuality is ok and genetic and evolution is fact. Gay people cannot reproduce with one another thereby taking them selves out of the gene pool. Does that not, by default, make heterosexuality the stronger of the two orientations by way of natural selection?(Yes. It`s a little off topic. No I`m not attacking gaydom. Strictly scientific.)

(Apologies for a re-comment, but:)
Just look what happened after Canada suddenly legalized gay marriage! Now we have same sex couples going round as always, but, y`know, they`re MARRIED! Yeah!
And...uh...that`s about it, I guess.

Said it before, I`ll say it again. Don`t like same-sex marriages? Then shut the f*ck up and don`t get one.

People are gonna keep shoving things up their bums no matter what. So why not let them shove things up their butts with a nearly unbreakable bond. Come on!

I guess that people who married someone of the opposite sex in a church, who later divorced, now owe the IRS a butt load of back taxes(With fines and penalties), for tax breaks and incentives that they retroactively- since they breached the covenant- are not eligible for.
Perhaps ALL people who`ve divorced should be prosecuted by the State, breach of contract or fraud.

This guy obviously makes a private, daily, lifelong commitment to caffeine.

Not to mention the crapload of people in history who married JUST for money. Arranged marriages dependant upon wealth: a deal, no love involved whatsoever.
