Obama Had A Pre-Excuse If Bin Laden Raid Failed

Submitted by: fancylad 5 years ago in

According to former US attorney Michael Mukasey, if Obama screwed up the assassination, an excuse was already drawn up.

Cajun: None of those other speeches were written to blame others for the failure though, this one was.

To prove the point more succinctly Obama`s recent `support` of gay marriage was only `personal support`, he still doesn`t believe gays have a `right` to marriage and still believes it`s the states that should decide the issue. More half-assed chicken sh|t flip flopping from your dear leader.

No, as me and 5Cats have pointed out it is common practice for the C&C to have a speech ready in case of failure. There were speeches lined up for the Apollo missions there was a speech lined up for D-Day. Any high-profile mission failure speech ready to go!

George Bush never got around to making excuses. He was happy with the nation knowing he was a failure.

jamie: There are Generals, bound by law, that can`t talk about who exactly ordered the mission but very much wish too.

There are already retired military personnel that have hinted that Obama did NOT make the call, that Hillary and Panetta did because Obama was waffling and they were afraid Osama would get warned by the ISI in Pakistan and move.

One look at the war room picture says a lot, Obama looks surprised and upset, he`s not even seated at the table and is clearly not dressed appropriately, because he was out playing golf when he was notified of the action.

Having a speech ready, in case it failed, to point the blame at someone other than himself is just another chicken sh|t example of his cowardice.

Eisenhower had two speeches written before D-Day, one for if it failed, one for if it succeeded.

People need to stop being so damn tribal. Seriously. if someone doesn`t think like you, you don`t go ripping their heads off like a klingon. So when is the next civil war gonna be?

It`s called cover your own ass. Faulting a politician for doing this is like calling out a fisherman for being salty. Unfortunately Fox is just an entertainment show for people who passionately hate fisherman.

@jamie76: You butt must really be sore! HAHAHA! Your president is a craven coward, an egomaniac, a liar and a crook. Eat it! Suck it up! It`s YOUR man in the White House and YOU are responsible!
HAHAHAHAHAAA!

There`s a WORLD of difference between having a "fall guy" lined up and having a "plan" in case something goes wrong.

General Eisenhower had a speech in his pocket to read if D-Day FAILED, but I bet he wasn`t going to blame someone else for it.

I think all of us have a backup plan if something fails, this isn`t something new. However I don`t agree with what his backup plan was.

I will not be voting for Obama but I find it dusgusting that the GOP is trying to degrade what he accomplished by killing Bin Laden.

so there MAY have been a memo that said, "IF CRAP CHANGES DO NOT PROCEED WITHOUT CALLING IN"/

wow, what an amazing thing they discovered...they found out that Obama wanted to be able to address any possible changes in the plan...holy crap someone fire him now!!!

GOP you = morons of the highest order.

Erm, the conclusion doesn`t actually match the givens. A memo telling a guy to follow orders doesn`t equate covering his a$$.

I had my speakers turned off and i was wondering "How come all the videos that i`m watching has no sounds?" I searched if the videos were put on mute while playing with the volume...

Four videos later I remembered that I turned the speaker off during the night because my cat was toying with the green light and it was preventing me from sleeping.

Epic fail right there.

Of course he had a back-up excuse.
Obama knew about Osama`s location roughly 2 whole weeks prior to his death. Obama`s advisors had to convince him to go in to get Osama, despite Obama saying in a speech "If I knew where Osama was, I would not hesitate to go in to take him out"

That last bit was a paraphrase, but yo u get the picture.

Hmm. Take more blame? Our previous war criminal president should take a cue.

So, White House {not Obama} told the General to do something under specific conditions...and they interpret that to be Obama coverying his but, not giving orders, "covering his ass". lol

Yeah FOX! Always entertaining, even if they aren`t very informative.

@PinkRhoid: You said it before I could. Any president would have a contingency plan, what kind of a dipsh*t president wouldn`t? And it`s a public office, if something bad happens heads gotta roll.
