Now Just WHO Is The Racist One Here? [Pic]

There is soooo much wrong with this...racism, politics, evolution and religion all wrapped up in one.

What I find stupid is that people have become so hypersensitive about being politically correct that they don`t dare to point out the obvious. The differences in people are what making them amazing; there is no shame in that.

KitFox, you may or may not be racist, but you`re surely stupid enough to sound racist.

skin tone is dependent on your climate. the pigment in your skin needs to balance between being dark enough to prevent burning, but being light enough to absorb enough vitamin d. when archaic homo sapiens (H.heidelbergensis, H.neanderthalis etc) left the african contenent and moved through the levant into europe c125-90kya they evolved to have paler skin to maximise the vitamin d absorbition in lieu of tropical burning sun. people who stayed in africa stayed black. that`s why they`re black.

and people said my degree was uselss

I am real, and I don`t consider myself a racist to the extent that you all have portrayed me. I`m the only one with enough common sense to point out the obvious. I`m not insinuating that black Africans are any less evolved than any other human race, only that their general features are more similar to our great apes than other races. And yes, this is probably because Africa is our evolutionary motherland and the features are suitable to the climate (dark skin, wider, flatter nose, etc.) If you deny this than you`re just lying to yourself.

There are some tendencies towards very minor superficial differences in features, to the extent that an expert can quite reliably give a rough location of ancestry based solely on a skull. People with African ancestry, especially south of the Sahara, tend to have a slightly more robust skull than people of European ancestry, epsecially more northern European ancestry. That does result in slight differences in appearance. Then there`s nose shape, another adaptation to different weather (narrower, more protruding noses are slightly better in cold air).

But comparisons with other great apes are like saying that Italy is nearer the north pole than Spain. A small part of it is, very slightly, but they`re both a long way from the north pole.

That`s not what KitFox said, so it isn`t fair to criticise her for saying it (because she didn`t say it).

The inferior mind of Dr. Linda Roberts struggles with the question of why primitive features of our hominid origins have survived in certain people. Poor Dr. Linda, I hope her head doesn`t explode. BTW, I have a friend that looks more like a lemur than an ape.

That Is a troll twit for sure because if that woman really exist then that is a sure debunk of the evolution theory.
How is it possible for that level of retardation to survive?
You are correct: the slight differences in skin tone are hardly worth mentioning, geneticly speaking. We`re all one human race.
I`m agreeing with 5cats a lot today it seems! I believe the increased melanin production is due to a SNP, a single change in one base-pair, so yes, not much of a change from us.

@KitFox: Please unplug your router. Just because their skin is closer to the colour of great apes means nothing. That`s like saying a tomato is more like an apple because they`re both red.

KitFox your response was so racist I gagged. Seriously have you traveled ? Have you read anything ? Since when do black people have more in common with Great Apes ?. Just go to any Neo- Nazi rock festival and check out the low brow,in-bred, knuckle dragging ,thick necked, big jawed white Apes whooping it up like chimps and gibbering !!!(and yes I am white)

She`s right in that people of black African descent do have many similar features to our great ape cousins. Why is it racist to point out the obvious? It`s just an observation, not a slander on someone`s moral character. I`m white, and I`m going to be racist by saying it is us white people who are the most genetically mutated because we look like nothing like our evolutionary ancestors.

@CrakrJak How exactly? Sure, the responder isn`t quite right, but he`s not far off and what he said could be passed off as simplifying it for the OP, who obviously is dumb as poo.
@Angilion: I used to honestly believe that Black folks didn`t get sunburns. BOY was I wrong!
When I was a young boy (at the age of five? :) ) I was surpised to notice that dark-skinned people got suntanned (or, rather, more suntanned) in summer. I`d assumed that they already had plenty for England.
It`s more like darker skin is "normal" and us pale folks adapted to the harsh Northern climate by becomming MORE sensitive to the sunlight. (in order to process vitamins D faster with less light).
Looks that way. On the same line, you could go back further and say that paler skin with a dense covering of hair is "normal" and darker-skinned folks adapted to a reduction in the UV protection from fur by evolving increased melanin production.

Either way, it`s not much of an effect. A bit of an edge in different environments, not a game-changer. Hence the sunburn and suntan things.

The good doctor is correct. The ignorant black man wants us to believe the sun is only hot in Africa? As if the location of people on earth has any relation to the temperature of the sun.

You can be a Dr. in just about anything. Doesn`t mean they know any more than how to wipe their own arse.

Although Poe`s Law comes into play again. I`m thinking no one can really be as stupid as this...yet I`m terrified that she is.

Man this post took me three attempts...I really should be getting to bed now.
Both are dumb as sh|t.
I`ll bite - why both?

The reply is a bit simplified(*), but it`s roughly true and not dumb.

* Skin colour isn`t an adaptation to levels of sunlight. It`s a side-effect of that adaptation because the properties that make melanin block UV also make it block visible light, therefore it`s black to humans. The adaptation is for the UV blocking properties, not the visible light blocking properties.
