A 40-year-old prank? While completely ignoring Obama"s history? What about Obama"s questionable past?

@kangoala: No one`s denying it, but no one`s offered a shred of proof either! It`s an accusation! Of what he may have done 46 years ago! Which apparently harmed no one, was not `illegal` and was rather common at the time.

Now Obama! He`s a self-admitted drug fiend, so was GW Bush. Clinton lied about it, lolz! Big surprise from a purguror!

Omaba also was friends with terrorists, supported EXTREME radicals of all sorts, sat in a racist church for 20 years and MORE!
The MSM is not at all interested...

It is a horrific double standard and look where it`s gotten America: recession, wars, high unemployment, MASSIVE debt, insane policies & etc.

I don`t get it... If Romney had weed and coke in his past it`d likely be a non-issue for most people. I mean of course the media outlets take their sides, but if the worst, most damaging `character` flaw you can find is illegal drug use then I think you`re grasping at straws.
I understand that there`s an agenda behind the timing and presentation of the Romney article, but no one`s denying it happened, and I think behavior like that is far more indicative of one`s character than what goes up their nose... Just sayin`...

@SmagBoy1 You`re delusional!
When has Romney ever `refused` to talk about the economy? In an interview he had to stop the "newsreader" from asking endless questions about dogs, gays, religion and DEMANDED to talk about the economy!

You don`t "get it" do you? 90%+ of all news readers, writers, editors & staff = Democrats! Liberals! Or both!!

So NO news agency asks Obama "tough questions" while they sift through Romney`s distant past with a microscope!

I kid you not: An actual question (slightly paraphrased) asked of Obama in early 2010:"Are Republicans ignorant of ObamaCare or just too stupid to understand it?"
Tough! Hard hitting! Um, not?

However, there is NO WAY Obama wants to talk about the economy, so his lap-dogs in the MSM find poo to fling insted.[/quote] But, 5Cats, isn`t it interesting how the conservatives did the same thing to Obama, not wanting to talk about, what was it, the economy?! So, instead, talked about where he went to school, etc., etc. This isn`t a one way street, and the MSM is the same as FoxNEWS and everyone else, owned by big media *conglomerates* that are interested in ONE THING: money. They couldn`t give two poos about what they say to make the money. We`d *all* do well to remember that when we let them spin us up...

@jamie76: And in 2008, the MSM NEVER ONCE said a contrary word against Sarah Palin! Oh heavens no!

ABO: Anyone BUT Obama. Real simple.

@Baalth: Glad you stayed on topic.

Obama Marches With NBP
I don`t care WHAT the situation is: He`s right there sharing a podium with NBP leader Malik Shabazz

If Romney shared a podium like that with the KKK I`d disavow him too.

2008 Article: Find in page: Heroin.
1 result saying he didn`t use heroin.

Your article is a sham, however you, even relying on known fraudsters, are never quite able to even to stick to what they`re saying before you invent more bullpoo.

Barack marched in the 42nd Annual Bridge Crossing Jubilee in Selma. A known member of the black panthers was also there, so did both Clintons.

Are you saying it`s a bad thing to support the march to commemorate civil rights? That`s a march Mitt wouldn`t want to attend?

I agree, but it`s not exactly a point in his favour.

By the way folks, the alleged `victim`s` family of the supposed prank says that the media report is "factually incorrect" and they are "aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda."

are you seriously supporting Romney????

you and I go at it at times and I cannot say there is much I agree with you about or even like, but the idea that you would be stupid enough to support Romeny is not something I can believe.

come on, the guy is a complete douche bag. just because you belong to the party stupid enough to run him doesnt mean you have to back him.

hold on a second here

back in 2008 we had to hear over and over and over again how Obama hung out with muslims, how he was close to a radical preacher etc.

turn about if fair play...unless you are a republican, then it is unfair only to the republican.

repubs, you used this tactic in 2008 and now it is being used against you.

deal. with. it.

@LordJim: The anti-Romney ad (posted at IAB too) IMPLIES this, I never said you said it.
It suggest that "after the attack" the boy "disappeared" eh? Then 30+ years later it was the first thing he mentiones to a former classmate? Um, not hardly. HE got kicked out for smoking, had a happy, successful life and died of natural causes. All NOT mentioned in the origional article.

@Patchy: The ONLY reason the MSM made the connection is because Jim Treacher`s Blog made fun of it, and them.
Jim Treacher is a genius!

Anyhow: you`ll be seeing plenty of anti-Romney stories, and plenty of "poor Obama" ones too.

I`m grateful to the Mods who posted BOTH the sides of this! Thanks guys and or gals!

5Cats,
"a lost and totrured soul" When did I say that and why are you using punctuation that implies that I did?

We clearly have to agree to disagree about what constitutes a harmless prank.

But may I repeat, do you believe Romney when he `doesn`t recall`?

@5cats: I generally see one anti-Obama story pop up whenever there`s an anti-Romney. Although maybe you watch more American news than me as I watch none, so I`ll leave you to your quest. :-)

@SmagBoy1: What you say is true!
However, there is NO WAY Obama wants to talk about the economy, so his lap-dogs in the MSM find poo to fling insted.

Thus the headlines about Romney`s Dog, Romney`s past, Romney`s religion!!! Attack, attack attack!!

@Gerry1: C`mon, admit your troll-ish behaviour! lolz! You just do it for the fun, unlike others...

Honestly: If THIS is the WORST poo they could find? Just appoint Romney now as he`s the `cleanest` President since... well, ever!

@LordJim: FFS, the guy had a long, happy well adjusted life! Very successful by any measure! He was NOT "a lost and totrured soul" until the end of his days (40 years later, of natural causes) IT WAS A HIGHSCHOOL PRANK!

Obama gave a speech AT A NBP sponsered rally. Obama has also introduced (for their speeches) known terrorists and other scum. But the MSM is actively supressing film of THAT!

I`m not keen on the media microscope. What really gets my goat is that it`s is 99% ONE sided. K @Patchy?

Oh, in 1965, when it happened, YES it was a harmless prank. In 2012, NO not anymore. So if Romney (and some pals) grabs a guy tomorrow and starts cutting his hair I will OFFICIALLY Apologise.

Anyone who uses something like this to make a decision in the voting booth probably has no business voting in the first place. Also, it`s unlikely that many actual voters will have their opinion swayed by this sort of stuff. All these stories really do is fire up the opposition, who wouldn`t be voting for him in the first place.

@LordJim: I don`t like Romney at all, really. I honestly think he`s generally a nice guy, and this incident is just character-bashing that both parties do. I think he`d be a terrible president, but I think he handled this well. Not perfect, but well enough.

@patchgrabber

I don`t think much of his apology. He denies any memory of the incident and `if` anything he did upset anybody then he`s `afraid` he`ll have to apologise. It`s a nonpology.

Does the world really need another frat-boy with a mean streak riding on daddy`s coat-tails in the Whitehouse?

Let`s see, Obama attended a madriss (sp) as a young boy, where he learned to hate America, freedom and guns. Isn`t that right? Or what about his associate with Weather Underground, or how he was mysteriously able to get into college. So, clearly, once again, it`s only the lefty MSM that`s doing it wrong. All of that stuff about Obama, all of it, was valid! Whatever.

To me, it`s clear that both sides do this sort of BS, and, to me, it`s clear that they`re both wrong. Let`s stick to the issues that are supposedly important to us voters: economy, jobs, wars. This other stuff is just stupid. On BOTH sides.

@LordJim: I agree with you about it being a bullying incident and not a prank, I`m amazed at how many people here think something like that is a prank.

But Romney admitted he`s done some pooty things and apologized. In my mind that makes this a dead issue.

Sneakily pouring shampoo onto a showering friend`s head while they are rinsing is a prank.

Five guys pinning a non-friend down and hacking off clumps of his hair because he is `different` is not a prank.

I`ll ask again, do you believe Romney when he says he doesn`t remember? Never mind the whataboutery, do you believe him?

Wouldn`t it just be refreshing for a candidate to just throw his dirty laundrey and all the skeletons in their closet on the table for all to see...thus reaffirming that they are indeed NOT perfect and all have flaws like any human.

You can cast anyone in a light that will be favorable or unfavorable (depending upon your aim).

Perhaps this is one reason an inmate garnered a significant number of primary votes...his crimes are there in the light of day for everyone to see.

So, what I`m getting from the previous article and your articles 5cats is that Romney did it. The sister didn`t know about it but said that her brother probably wouldn`t have said anything anyway. Breaking news.

And an article bitching about how opponents of Obama have their lives scrutinized for any wrongdoings/transgressions etc.? Stop the presses 5cats, you`re uncovered something that has always happened in every political election in every country since there have been democratic elections.

The ONLY reason Obama`s eating dog came up is because the MSM "dug up" Romney`s dog story, it`s a fact.

It`s in Obama`s books, there for all to see! NO ONE cared until the MSM attacked one side, while turning a blind eye to the other.

Facts: Aquaint ones self with them.

In High School I spent 2 years at a boarding school, good times!
We were so proud of our boy-moustaches! One day 3 fellow grabbed me and took an electric razor to mine, bzzz bzzz! I was ready to murder them when they pointed to the plastic cover over the cutting part! "He got me!" said one guy "They got me" said the other.
"That is so funny!" said I "Who`s next?" we pounced on the next fellow with facial fuzz, he loled too!
Not traumatized for life, charecter building!
