Wow, I`m glad you`re okay Piperfawn! I am sorry that you`re a bit depressed, maybe you should try and vent to some friends/family and keep your support system close.....

@robo: half a building collapsed from what we could see in the video. Don`t tell me that`s not bad.

A lot of heritage architecture/buildings, hundreds of years old, also destroyed. A bad one, for sure...

robosnitz: "didn`t look THAT bad"

Perhaps not compared to the trailer park you live in, but seven people are dead, Dude.

That`s God`s way of saying "Pay your debts". Wait till the Greeks get hit by the world`s biggest lightening bolt.

Gods, gotta love `em.

Gerry1of1 hmm i didn`t had that feeling but maybe just cause was really late in the night(4 a.m.) and i was a little bit sleepy. In fact i was just waiting for the fate without much emotions except for the primordial instinct i mentioned before, maybe cause in this period i`m a bit depressed and i don`t fear also the idea to die.

Oh, yeah, piperfawn - glad you`re okay. Being from california I`ve been in earthquakes and know that "feeling inside" you mentioned. After an earthquake I get really horney. Did that happen with you, too?

vv So glad you are OK @PiperFawn! We may argue a bit But I`m fond of you (in that `manly way` eh?).

Once again I am SO GLAD to live smack in the middle of the Canadian Shield: possibly the most stable place on Earth.

I live 70 miles as the crow flies from the epicentre. Yesterday night i was awake and i`ve clearly perceived the earthquake, was really long(like 20 seconds)and intense. Luckily in my city we don`t have any damage but 7 people are died near the epicentre. This fact is so strange cause my region is not supposed to be a sismic zone or at least is not supposed to have events so strong. Earthquake is so strange, when you are in the middle of the event you can really feel something strange inside you, like a primordial fear and the first reaction can be to freeze and don`t move( really bad thing to do)for this reason i think that we all need to be prepared with someone that teach us what to do in the occurrence. I think that in every school must be teached the useful procedures to survive an earthquake.

Strong enough to shake the moustaches off the women there?

I would have said nipple hair rather than moustaches but I didn`t want ex-wife #2 (italian) to read it and think I was having a go at her in particular.

Holy fxck, it was so bad that it knocked the content out of this thread. Whilst we`re waiting for the actual content for this thread to get posted properly, they had an earthquake that was 7 on the Richter scale in Scotland`s lovely seaside town of Greenock once that devastated the area, causing £10 million worth of improvements.
