What I want to know is how other people, as apple product users, don`t feel bad when "Fruit Ninja" is your show horse product.

Seriously apple, when is "LOOK AT HOW YOU CAN FRUIT NINJA NOW!" going to finally stop being a selling point?

This reminds me of the Wii. Amazing concept, but in reality, no one will want to hold up their arms for that long.

I hate sh*t like this. It`s why I returned my Kinect after only a month. You don`t feel as though you are connected.

@CrakrJak it`s not good for artists either, not good for anybody who has to spend few hours daily working by computer.

I think that would make your arms and shoulders quite tired after awhile. Good for artists and entertainment, but not programmers, accountants or writers.

How....incredibly pointless.

This thing will suck. Who wants to sit there holding your hand up the whole time you are on the computer?

@Stonards: This is not better than Kinect. This is for close quarters hand recognition. Kinect does the same for your whole body, and also has facial and voice recognition. How is this better than Kinect?

I thought the price would be higher, $76 isn`t bad. I have a feeling it takes quite a while to adjust to it and learn how to effectively use it.

It could make porn more interesting.

This is FAR BETTER than Kinect in EVERY WAY. I will buy this; it is absolutely fantastic if it models and positions your hand exactly.

@burb

How the hell does not wanting to wave one`s arms all day at a screen constitute not doing an honest day`s work?

What does that mean, anyway?

IABers are awfully whiny today. How about some positive comments or STFU. This is a tech post and not brutal cops or neglectful parents. C`MON!

I saw this on break this morning and wanted to comment but I just waited till you guys posted it up here. I noticed everyone is making the same comment I would so I guess that`ll be all.

People used to do an honest day`s work. Now they complain that waving their hand in thin air is too tiring. Everybody must be looking forward to the day when you can just plug in your brain to the internet and stay in bed all day!

no thank you, nice concept but it would definitely tire my arms out. I`d rather have a full touch pad with multi-touch gestures.

Minority Report impacted our R&D for an entire decade, and finally the results are hitting the masses. The lesson? Don`t innovate based on what "looks cool in a movie". This entire concept is flawed and stylistic.

very neat! but I don`t find it very practical. I`d much rather lazily click my mouse then orchestrate the screen til my arms fell off.

Makes my arms tired just watching that. Can`t imagine an eight-hour day writing and editing. Good concept for certain things, but I`m not about to go buy a can of MOUSE AWAY! just yet.

I like the idea, but having to wave your hands around, for hours at a time, may become a bit of an issue for heavy users.

I still prefer the mouse.. if I play a shooter for an hour or so, my arm will hurt from holding it up like a gun the whole time.. with a mouse I can rest the arm and only move the hand. Much more comfortable, which isn`t "lazy" or "this is why your`re fat".. if I wanted to do exercise, I would do exercise.. if I want to relax and play a game, I will do that :P
