Error... Error... Portugal was never anexed by Spain. What happened was a personal union in which the King of Spain Felipe II was also king of Portugal, Felipe I

@kitteh9 Your second link got taken down.

Here`s One From the 1500`s to 2006 with dates. Not bad, there`s lots more out there too!

This One`s Pretty Good! from year 1 to 2006, stopping for major events.

Fine @Alpensepp: How about Poland returning to it`s 1772 borders? Or Germany returning to it`s 1942 borders?
To demand a nation retreat from "disputed land" based on religion is just plain wrong! OK?

"Because Christians are bad and every other religion is right.

Is that what you really wanted to say?"

All religions suck.

The choice of using blue for Georgia was a mistake. It makes it look like the Black Sea flooding.

It`s a good illustration of how recent current borders and even current countries are.
I don`t like how they seem to class the Jabobite Uprisings as a Scottish rebellion...
I don`t like how they seem to class the union of crowns as an English conquest of Scotland. Also, the Norman/English conquest of Ireland is misleading, since the conquerors so very quickly became Irish. Bar a strip down the east coast, within a generation you`d be hard pressed to notice that there had been a conquest - it was a running joke at the time that the only way you could tell who the Norman/English and their descendents were was that they were more Irish than the Irish.

No doubt there are plenty of other similar details for other places.

Everyone who says "Israel should return to it`s 1967 borders" should be forced to explain every single border change in this video. THEN explain why the Holy Roman Empire shouldn`t have it`s land "returned"...

Some would say that Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland and a large chunk of the Northern Russian territory should`ve been in this... and, yes also i agree with Lillim about the running score missing.

I liked the video and the concept is super cool, but it could`ve been done better :-p

A running score of what year it was would have helped that out immensely. Vaguely-remembered history classes are all that gave me a timeframe of major takeovers.
