Seriously? That has to be the dumbest thing I`ve ever heard. What exactly do you believe the military does? They aren`t a political party. They`re the got damn military. They don`t support or oppose anything as `the military`. Each person supports or opposes whatever each person does.
You`re right. Yes, they are the military. And no, they don`t support anything; no ideal whatsoever. They`re just a force that can be used for good or evil.

The above facts are precisely why verbosity is also right in the point he was actually making: i.e., that the military certainly isn`t/wasn`t fighting for any American`s freedom over in Afghanistan or Iraq. If they were, then they`d have been doing a shyt job, when back home you`ve got 2.5 million Americans in prison, half of them for non-violent drug offences that the majority of Americans agree shouldn`t even be illegal.

I think PinkR had this covered, but I felt the need to reiterate just how ridiculous and nonsensical that statement is...

It is against the UCMJ and you will get in trouble if your leadership finds out you are cheating.

Corrupt leaders are in fact elected by the majority which Armed forced employees are not so in essence you and the general public could be said to be more to blame than military members specifically. I know you were told it was cool to fight the man but pull your head out of your ass. If we had no standing military I guarantee we wouldn`t be having this discourse so re-direct your mis-placed hatred for fellow Americans to the real douchebags running the show.

You don`t see it because you are a blind fool. Like so many other retards you equate military with government. All but the highest ranking turds are normal men and women who just want to work and protect their families. They fight SOPA, PIPA, and whatever in the same way you do by voting, writing politicians , and protesting. If heinous orders were known for being heinous no one would follow them but people are mis-lead by those they trust military or no. Short of fully releasing our military or full revolution against our gov I don`t know what you would have the individuals who are trying to make a living and protect their country should do about corrupt leaders.

I`ll counter the "narrow minded fools, it could be a woman driving" with "narrower minded fools, it could be a woman driving and cheating could still be going on."

However, all that is irrelevant. What I take issue is with the "fights for YOUR freedom" part - really, how? Was Iraq making plans to build a navy and invade? Did 3000 deaths really justify such an overreaction? Sorry, no, they are not fighting for my freedom - they are fighting to impose our government`s will upon other nations. Sometimes there are good (humanitarian) reasons to do so, other times there is just no justifying our unilateral action. Still, I see the military doing nothing to oppose the PATRIOT Act, SOPA, Guantanamo, or other threats to the open society that the USA was meant to be - a society that stands for liberty, justice, and equality. Until they stand up for these qualities, they are just fighting for the government.

diylobotomy: Women can have "girlfriends" where the relationship is not sexual in nature.

Apparently you are both dense and gutter minded.

@CrakrJak We only assume it means the wife is cheating because that`s the point of the damn sticker. Do we really have our minds in the gutter or are you just dense? Probably both, but still..

Wendypants: Yes, I believe this vehicle belongs to a woman whose friend has a husband in the Marines.

Too bad most people here, even most of the women, have their minds in the gutter and thought the Marine`s wife was cheating on him. IAB never fails to surprise me in regards to "gutter mentality".

Shame on you
At least you`re an entertaining one. So positive you`re small piece of land in your small corner of society has all the answers because you have all the answers.
Actually, I think the UK has even less of the answers than the US does. At least American society makes its own fxck ups; all Britain has seemed capable of doing for the past ten years or so is joining in with the US`s screw ups - we`re just as culpable in Iraq and Afghanistan as you, but we`re not even original enough to come up with bad foreign policies all of our own.

Sorry lass, but sex is sex. As as I said, maybe a couple of decades back when no one was actually getting shot or blown up, but today, NO one over there gives a rats ass about your home life.
As I said, american military doesn`t actually do much work in AMERICA......I`ve had more foreign coworkers and friends in a short military stint than you`ve had in your life. They include brits.
I`ve eaten tons of Chinese food in my life, that doesn`t mean I can speak Cantonese. Honestly, I`ve met American service personnel that couldn`t even point to the country we were standing in on a map, and you`re telling me you know more than I do about the British army`s attitude to adultery conducted between serving service personnel and their spouses because you`ve known a few British squaddies? Don`t make me laugh – you know absolutely fxck all about it.

"How the fxck would you know?"

As I said, american military doesn`t actually do much work in AMERICA. I really can`t stand you. Fact is, I`m certain I`ve had more foreign coworkers and friends in a short military stint than you`ve had in your life. They include brits. Who cheated, and no one cared. You`re wrong. Good guys/gals inside pretty much every western (may as well include australia) military who do their job well can get away with quite a lot of dumb UCMJ laws. Crying about adultery when "this month" three guys in the unit have died is just as dumb as crying about some homo`s.

We`d deal with it internally, but yeah, discharge my ass. Haha, both our military`s would be insanely short handed if every gay and adulterer were kicked.

How the fxck would you know? I can assure you it is - get caught screwing around with another service person`s spouse here and the best you`ll come away with is demotion and a dishonourable discharge.

"court-martialable offence"

Yes, same in the US. That said, as "serious" as homosexuality was post 9-11. What people do with their dicks and vagina`s has nothing to do with what they do while looking down range.

Gotta love the idea trust and morale really matter that much when survival is on the line. Quite the idealist.

And no, it`s not a serious offense in the british military. You somehow forget the american military spends very little time in america and spends a lot of time working with non americans. Again, I came across EVERY conceivable way.

Monogamy is so rare in the military, this is hardly worth smirking over. Been a part of or been a close friend of someone who`s been a part of every conceivable way of cheating, cheater`s stateside/overseas cheated stateside/overseas married/dating active/civilian active/active cheater/cheatee.

Average people don`t join the military, nor do they sleep with the military. Perhaps a couple of decades ago, but not anymore.

Any body who has ever been in the military thinks that`s funny as hell. The rest can stop being posers. I mean WE HAVE A CADENCE about this very thing. I laughed, and ALL the retired military folks who work where I do laughed and said "that`s just wrong"

My dad, who`s been in the army for 25+ years, said "a phone call will save a marriage." I always thought that was to keep up communication while overseas and to make sure husbands/fathers can still have contact with their families. In actuality, it was so that the cheating wife can get her man friend out of the house before her husband gets home. Bubble=busted.

What a douche! I bet this sh*tbird tried and failed to enlist in the Marine Corps and is doing this out of jealousy.

I`ve seen sh*t like this all the time, especially out at bars. Once a group of frat boys realized we were a bunch of Marines they`d always try to pick a fight. Maybe they wanted bragging rights to tell all their "bro`s" they got in a fight with a group of Marines. Either way, we`d end up mopping the floor with those f*ucktards.

`did it ever occur to you that this is a chick `

Well, if that is the case I`m sure they can find some arrangement when the husband gets back.

`Honey. while you have been gone I have taken some comfort in Ingrid, my supple yoga instructor. Can you find it in your heart to forgive me and maybe invite her around?`
