I see two types above: too fat, but would still fck, and way too fat to give a fck about.

That`s why I always settle for the woman in between.

That`s pretty depressing.
Also those are the worst tattoos I`ve ever seen.

Funny thing is, it`s the opposite that is usually true.

I think they called it right . . . of the women I`ve known . . .

Yeah, but at least you`re a SMALLER target.

This is from a poll from a magazine about glamour and beauty. Most people don`t see a fat person as careless and lazy, and least not until they get a whole lot fatter than that. But I agree on the skinny girl part, it`s easy to assume they`re vain and judgemental.

Yeah, the thin girl looks perfectly healthy to me. Most of my family is tall and thin naturally. Also, she could be an athlete.

I gotta say that honestly...I would sleep with the woman on the right before the one on the left.

WTF? The skinny girl is absolutely healthy. She is emaciated and anorexic looking. If you think she looks unhealthy than almost every female in the summer olympics is unhealthy.

neither of these girls are `healthy`, they are on opposite sides of the ideal.

So basically, people will judge you no matter what your size is. I`m not sure what Glamour was trying to achieve with this..

"The first thing that caught me was the expressions in the eyes. The fat girl seems happy and doesn`t appear to feel contempt and hatred for the thin one."

She`s happy because she`s full. The skinny girl is pissed because by the time she got out of hair and makeup the craft service table was picked clean.

I`d feel bad for women except women are the ones doing it. I`ve never been in a bar with a guy and had him say "OMG look at his hair, so trailer park" or "can you believe he is wearing those jeans with his ass?". I hear girls say that poo about other girls constantly.

@HolyGod: True, `ambitious` could be positive! But placed between `superficial` and `conceited` I took it to mean `gold digging`.

Passive? Not that positive, mostly linked to "passive aggressive" in my mind.

"exactly one positive trait for each"

Ambitious and Confident are both positive.
Giving is positive and Passive could be considered positive.

@Gerry, who is making a feminist argument? Seems like you`re looking for a fight where there isn`t one.

Yes, these are labels applied by other women.
I notice there`s exactly one positive trait for each. Weird? Or psychologically predictable?

Women use their looks in the process of ranking one another within their hierarchical social structure. Not saying that men haven`t contributed to this in any way, just saying that it`s not fair to point the finger entirely at us.

You could do the same thing with two male models.
The fat one is `jolly, gluttonous, undisciplined, beer-guzzling`
The thin one is `dumb jock, vain, roid-rager, douchebag`.

Femanist arguement is invalid.

Of course the readers voted this way. They`ve been reading Glamour magazine.

Ya know...women have to pose for those fashion mags. Women have to buy those clothes, stupid shoes, all that makeup, hair extensions etc. So if you hate it so much, stop doing it.

I`m just tired of hearing you bitch about it.

It`s a shame that we put so much value on women`s bodies and so little on their minds.
