Cops Break Inmates Neck, Drag Him Around Jail

Chilling. He"s an alleged criminal, yes, but is that an excuse for this sort of horrible treatment?

he was an ALLEGED criminal, of course thats no way to treat him. Not saying it would be acceptable if he was proven guilty for anything. but the guy hadn`t even been convicted of anything.

This is pretty sad. I hope those cops feel like mean person bags, because they sure looked like some.

You screw with the cops - they`ll hurt you. Don`t like it? Don`t be a criminal. Simple.

Birdawg68 I am a second year Criminology student undergraduate. I could not disagree with you more. Due process (innocent until proven guilty) is the foundation of much of the western world`s criminal justice system. This guy hadn`t been proven guilty and lost his life as a result of the infringements on his civil liberties and human rights.
I put it to you in a hypothetical sense, if YOU were accused of tresspass charges like this man, do you think you`d deserve to die?

jcarb10: If they didn`t do anything incriminating, in front of the camera, then why even post this video? To bore us even more?

As far as we know the guy fell, in his drunken stupor, inside his cell without the police doing anything untoward.

The annotations in the video prove nothing.

@CrackrJak you really think that cops are gonna do anything in front of a camera?

To answer the question posed in the title, yes, his being an alleged criminal and acting the way he was while waiting for his opportunity to prove his innocence does justify the restrained manner in which the police dealt with him.

Poor quality vid. I couldn`t see how the police broke his neck? I`m not saying it didn`t happen and if it did then it`s terrible, but I really can`t tell what`s happening here aside a guy being a douche by refusing to cooperate.

Obviously he isnt cooperating, but has enough mobility to kick them at 2:05. I cant really say after watching that it was a cold hearted malicious attempt to hurt the guy but accidents do happen, not to mention whatever he did to get in there might have left some pre existing injury. At first glance this appears to be nothing more than a typical "drat tha police!" post but who knows.

Really, I hope this shows everyone the importance working out their neck. I mean working out is great, but you need to work on all the areas not just the major ones. Also, don`t go to jail. Jail seems like a high risk factor. So in summary, work out your neck too, and don`t go to jail.

irunfast86, I`m going to go out on a limb and sat that SnoopyBG did that with a veneer of irony.

That video was terrible, and it didn`t really show anything wrong being done by the officers.

Honestly, I don`t see the police even doing anything wrong here. He refuses to walk, stand, or cooperate, so they are forced to drag him where he needs to go. This video doesn`t show any cops taking his neck and twisting, or even causing real bodily harm. The inmate likely injured himself while in his cell, it happens extremely often in my experience.

The police never appeared to strike him or pin him - they simply take him by the arms to escort him where he needs to be, and since he refuses to stand, his feet are dragging.

What he is there for is irrelevant.
The court decides guilt, not the police.
They are just supposed to hold you until court.
Beating a guy after you break his neck and he can`t fight anymore is just a tad bit over the line, don`cha`think?

Why was he in jail? I can`t find this information anywhere. I`m not saying that this is right, but I think that his alleged crime has the potential to change how people view him.
