When did Sesame Street turn into a cartoon? I mean that would have to be the most realistic cartoon I`ve ever seen...

I always thought nationalism just meant having pride and an interest in the well being of one`s country. I tried looking it up, but the definition kind of makes no sense as it lists both just having `national spirit or aspirations` as being nationalism, but it also lists `exaggerated, over-passionate or fanatical devotion to one`s own country` as a definition.

So now I`m confused as to whether being a nationalist just means someone has a healthy level of love/loyalty for their country, or whether being a nationalist means someone is a crazy fanatic who only cares about their country and says to hell with any other.

"How I long for the days when stupid people were eaten by wild animals.". I would settle for as far back as before they started putting `Danger of Death!` signs on stuff.

SesameStreet isn`t a cartoon. It`s live action.

Reminds me of the daft twats back from my home town in northern arizona. Over critical, judgmental culturephobes. and it`s not a cartoon. It`s a puppet show.

"Who complains of nose rings?"

Most places that employ people and expect them to dress "conservatively."

"Then why doesn`t she get off her a$$ and do some parenting instead of bitching about it on facebook?"

Maybe her kid is in school. You`re on the internet too so OBVIOUSLY that means you can`t put up with reality and you`re neglecting everything you have to do today.

That`s not my definition of "Being American".

Mine involves tolerance and an attempt of understanding completely harmless things like nose rings from other cultures.

Should have said "An American NATIONALIST`S Tolerance." Patriotism is fine, but this person is definitely a nationalist.

one-the kids probably dont even notice the ring
two-if they did see, most of them dont have any messed up perceptions about mody mods yet, so it`s neither good or bad.
three-its her religion, she got married, woot, woot!

Be happy for her and get over it.

"Who complains of nose rings?"

The same moms who complain about tattoos and various other things their children could be exposed to. HOW DARE THIS MOTHER BE CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT HER CHILD SEES! She`s the mother, not all of you.

Fancy, I like bashing Americans as much as the next Pinko European Communist Feminist Lesbian, but really, a conversation on Facebook? This is news? I hear dumber conversations at the supermarket that are just as worthy of discussion.

PS: Have you got my Sofa King link fixed yet?
