@soundman655- What are you talking aboot? Have you tried any American beers besides Miller or Bud? There are hundreds of world class micro and nano breweries making some of the best beers in the world! FYI- Canada makes good NOTHING!

Small issue, Barley Wine is not a Pale Ale, Barley Wine is what you have if you DON`T add any hops! (Otherwise known as an Original or True Ale) Hops weren`t added to Ale until the Brits invaded India (thus the designation I.P.A. or India Pale Ale)

Just a quick glance tells me it would be wise to avoid the far left bottom corner. There`s some nasty crap lurking down there.

Beer is amazing. Almost every culture has its own beer.

That being said, Guinness and Yuengling are my top two preferences.

Beer is a cornerstone of civilization.

It`s one of the drinks that shaped modern times. The others are, of course: wine, spirits, tea, coffee and coca-cola.

Just to clarify, americans make good beer, if it`s micro brewed. Other than that, the megabrews are to beer as what Chef Boyardee is to ravioli.

Why is it that everyone instantly says ooh American beer sucks. Sure all of the American macrobrews suck, but there isn`t very many macrobrews in the world that are very good. They`re all about quantity not quality. There are a lot of fantastic microbrews here.

In terms of lager, "American" means "not for human consumption".
