I only knew growler as an east coast term for a chunk of sea ice that lurked at water level and posed a threat to small boats.

i thought a growler was a jug used to bring a few litres of beer home off the tap from the brew pub.

I don`t like it when you hear roaring laughter, but see only smiles and chuckles amongst the audience.

My seven yo son loves top gear. Shoulda watched this before I called him into the room to see it. Fortunately the innuendo went right over his head...
Especially after Bo Selecta`s Lorraine Kelly would frequently cross and uncross her legs, exposing her hairy parts and asking her guests if they could "see ma growler?".
Oh, the kulchure I miss by not watching telly. Good job IAB and Urban Dictionary exist to keep me right with the lingo.

I used to use the term growler for a big sandwich. As you almost had to growl to get it in your mouth. Then the word became famous as a euphemism for "lady parts". Especially after Bo Selecta`s Lorraine Kelly would frequently cross and uncross her legs, exposing her hairy parts and asking her guests if they could "see ma growler?".

for someone who hates porsches with passion, he likes the looks of this car way too much.

Didn`t know that one and I`m not too bad with Brit slang. Here a growler is a jug that holds beer you take home from the pub.

again buiadh you really need to sit down and shut up. I-a-b themselves have said they have hundreds of submissions per day. It`s the mods that decide what goes up here, and up until very recently, every submission was from a very small clique of people.

When they finally got called out, they allowed 1 or 2 rare posts from other submitters. Remember Eugenius? A moderators alt, who made a site then had almost every submission linked from it so they could make money off the adds?
MacGuffin, have you ever heard the expression "Everyone has a friend who`s a real a$$hole. And if you`re thinking "Hey, I don`t have any friends like that!", then it`s you"...

That might be like you and the "growler".

Just how often do you trim the lady-garden?
Once a week. Whether it needs it or not.

Your analogy has me worried, though. I now have disturbing visions of you and your mates comparing public hair, and concluding each of you is `normal`.

It`s about time IAB got some decent material back on it. Even though this is ages old.

Macguffin. Really?

Heres an ice breaker for an awkward pause in a romantic dinner date..

"Have you seen my growler?"

Best deployed with a Scottish accent.

Why`s the video mirrored? That`s weird.

Great segment though, I remember this :P
Why is it mirror image?
I believe it`s the latest urban myth on YouTube - by providing a mirror-image of the video, those posting copyright content hope to avoid YT`s automated copyright infringement detection software. Because searching for reverse patterns would clearly be beyond the wit of anyone capable of programming an automated content detection mechanism.
