What do you expect from a bakery that spells "shop" as "shoppe?"

@randall14. Up here, Safeway has the rep of being the rich man`s grocery store...upscale, stuffy, in-store Starbucks, etc. and their prices tend to reflect this....

Because those are a yeast ring and a donut or however you feel it should be spelled is what is now called a cake donut and there is a huge difference. I don`t like those and they used to be called glazed donuts but I like the fact they are not called a donut now because to me they aren`t one only the cake donut is worthy of the name.

No, they`ve been called `donuts` ever since Noah Webster (dictionary dude) rewrote the American dictionary because he knew the Yanks were retards. Hence why particular words (e.g. coloUr) were rewritten in an easier way :-)

True story!

You can go to any sleazy bar and pick up a yeast ring there.

Maybe there`s too much bug parts to legally call them donuts.

looks like Randall`s packaging (Safeway up north?), if you`ve ever shopped in those stores, they try to make it upscale. "donuts" is what poor people eat...

"Glazed yeast raised ring" sounds like a medical diagnosis of an embarrassing personal problem, not a scrummy confection.
