    "Holy crap" is right.

@ WoJ - sorry it`s not like in the movies. Maybe they`ll re-release this clip in 3D for you.

The real drawback here is that the wreckage is so well documented, the business owner won`t be able to submit the obligatory inflated insurance claim.

When I saw the twister movie I laughed at the tractors being tossed around, I had no idea they could actually do this stuff. Jeez!!! But I experienced Michigan Tornado last month. LINK

This sh*t was scary as hell, one of the tornado`s passed over my kids school and several people I know had their houses destroyed. I still can`t believe no one got killed.

No doubt, tornadoes will f u up. The problem we have here is that they blow off so many false alarms, people stop taking them seriously. I remember one case in particular: I was in the Joplin, Mo., public library, when the sirens went off. They forced everyone into a big meeting room (definitely NOT the safest place to be). Someone turned on the TV, and the radar showed the tornado was 30 miles north of us and moving away, but because it was in the same county, the warning included us.

Last year a monster tornado hit Joplin, and a lot of people got killed, many of them because they didn`t take the warning sirens seriously.

@Oldollie. Agreed, tornados are not to be f*cked with. If one hits, if you are aboveground you are in deep trouble....

I`ve always wondered what the hell you`re supposed to do if you`re stuck on the highway next to a tornado. And OldOllie, you`re completely right, people where I`m from got so used to false alarms that when the biggest supercluster in US history hit, people didn`t understand the severity of the problem, and that`s why so many people got killed. Along with the tornados of course.

OldOllie: "...they didn`t take the warning sirens seriously."

Sounds like a lack of trust in the government.

For the majority of us, there was nothing - had one touch down 1/2 mile from my house, but it was headed NE (I lived SE from it). Out of the 15 to 25 estimated tornadoes, only a few touched down for more than a few seconds and actually did anything...

Besides - other than lives, there`s nothing worth saving in Lancaster anyway... :-D

@TheShgn2 - "I`ve always wondered what the hell you`re supposed to do if you`re stuck on the highway next to a tornado."

You get out of the car, and run for any sort of ditch, overpass, etc. you can find to get out of the way of the thing.

I`m a weather junkie, check the local forecast 4-5 times a day, watch the computer models and make my own predictions.

I should`ve made it my career choice.
