Not Sure If This Is The Best Protest Method [Pic]

I get that you have to shock people to get your message across sometimes, but maybe this is a little extreme and unsafe.

the shirt isn`t ironic... it`s the standard slutwalk shirt (anti rape march/gathering).

Wow, you guys are missing the point of this entirely. This is from the "Slut Walk" which is an event to raise awareness about rape. The point of her costume and his shirt is that what you wear shouldn`t be used as an excuse for sexual assault. What you wear is not an invitation to get raped. Many people think, "Well, look what she was wearing! She was asking for it!" If she said no, she wasn`t asking for it.

Yes.

Yes, people treat you dependant on how you dress. Welcome to the human civilization. Dress like a whore, get treated like a whore.
It kills me when women say, "I hate when men oogle me!" but proceed to wear skimpy clothes. "But, it makes me feel good!" Yeah, it makes you feel good because men oogle you, whore.

Protesting sexual assault is retarded and will do nothing more than attention whore.

Once again, this is from a nationwide protest against sexual violence called the "Slutwalk".

Her hair certainly isn`t...

But anyway, this chick probably gets all sorts of pissed off when guys look at her for longer than two seconds.. eye-assault or some crap, I`d bet.

@Cajun: I never suggested it was "relavent" I said it was interesting.

Also: YOU put up a video about MEN when I talked about WOMEN. But I didn`t complain, did I? Well then...

@Oblongata

He was pointing out that men tell women that it`s partially their fault for being raped based on the way they are dressed and making a joke out of it. You missed the point entirely. I bet you`re a woman.

@eddy666

Some samples of rape accusations have been as high as 45% false. That`s a little bit too permanent for something that isn`t 100% certain.

They can fire you, doesn`t mean they will or they have to.

Irrelevant.
Not the same as walking in Iran or Saudi dressed like that
Yes but Turkey is "Muslim nation" nonetheless. Whereas no such districts exist in Saudi Arabia. I`d also like to point out that the laws of Iran are enforced rather arbitrarily.

They`re dumb bitches, what do you expect? I don`t protest burglaries, why the drat are they protesting rape? What do they want, for it to be more illegal?

@Cajun: That`s the "Red Light District" not a regular place. The cops and the pimps keep the "Purity Patrols" out. Not the same as walking in Iran or Saudi dressed like that. Great try though!

I don`t understand what these protests are trying to accomplish. Rape and assault are already ILLEGAL in the United States. IMO, they seem like a bunch of attention whores, but I don`t know a whole lot about it.

Wow Blackcat, retard? Really? So, someone cracks a joke about slut-walk and you turn immediately to insults...probably not the best way to defend the cause...

Any time you have to start your side of the argument with an insult, it just makes you look bad...and the cause you`re trying to defend looks bad beside you.
Have ANY of you retards heard or read anything at all on the internet about Slutwalk? GOOGLE IT. You are really proving the opinion that the rest of the world has of you by being completely unaware of the world around you. Talk about reinforcing stereotypes, that`s the whole reason Slutwalk was invented, for retards like you.
It was invented for people like you, not the rest of us. It`s an opportunity for nasty, aggressive people to rage about things that didn`t actually happen and generally show how aggressive and unpleasant they are, mixed in with a large dollop of irrational prejudice.

So yes, we`re well aware of it.

Wear whatever the hell you want, but get better insults.

Personally, I guess she is fine wearing that...the hookers wear a lot less and they get paid for it.
