Asked to clear off the table, this kid complains that her bowl is "too heavy" to carry to the sink.

This is probably just me, but I just found the whole video to be hilarious. Probably because the girl reminds me of myself. When I was younger, I was a huge Drama Queen (in the sense that everything was a production, and the whole world was my audience!) She just seemed to be a Ham, not a Brat. You can tell, while her Dad is coaxing her, that she`s just eating up the attention. Her Dad is just her audience for her "performance." Obviously she needs to find a better outlet for her passion, but I don`t necessarily see her as being undisciplined.

But windy (and others), what`s the fun in that? LastJuggalo has it right -- violence is always the answer! Otherwise, you get Deomcrats for kids, and nobody wants that.

"My son acted like this for about three months when he was around 4. I busted his ass for it. He no longer acts this way."
And this father didn`t touch her but got the same result. Hope you feel proud for hitting your kid.

@LastJuggalo

and you are why i HATE other parents. i managed to curb this kind of behavior in a two year old with patience and consistency and believe it or not I didn`t even hit her.

but i`m glad to see you are living up to your idiot juggalo reputation.

I am a mother. My son acted like this for about three months when he was around 4. I busted his ass for it. He no longer acts this way.

This is why, even as a mother, I HATE other peoples kids. The day this crap became acceptable was the day evolution said "F* these humans. Let `em rot."

Spoiled little b*tch. I`d love to reach through the screen and smack her in the mouth.

@photomstr: I guess you`ve never had kids. That`s pretty much how kids act at that age and they grow out of it on their own.

kick in the ass will fix her . . . early to bed, restricted privileges . . . anything to quell the bad acting. over indulging the brat is not cute at all. she will be emo wrist cutting if they don`t stop it now.

If I would have done that my parents would have let me do it,laughed at me, then spanked me for being difficult, and then made clear the rest of the table.

LOL! I always think when I see a parent being mean to a kid, "Keep it up. You`re gonna end up in the cheapest crap nursing home in Mississippi."

lol. I could only get away with something like that once, because my mom would pull the wooden spoon out of the drawer. After that, I could lift an elephant.

LOL! Been there, done that. If you have no patience before you`re a parent, you quickly learn to tap into the resources.

That kid is awesome smart, most kids would just say no, this kid made a back story and used her body to act a realistic scenario.
My kid did that I`d pretend to conduct a magic spell over the bowl to make it light and then tell the kid to do it, but yeah, no way would the kid get away with not doing it.

Kegomatix, I`m sure your boys were perfect little angels who never threw illogical tantrums, and were never influenced by their friends or what they saw from others.

The net is full of parenting fail. Nice to see an example of someone doing it right.....

I don`t see what`s wrong with the parenting there. The kid tried to take on Dad, Dad firmly but nicely refused to give in and give the child what she wanted. He didn`t lose his cool, he didn`t let her win, she will learn it`s easier to do what`s asked of her at the first time of asking.

Otherwise over time you lose control over your kid.

How`s that name pretentious? They could easily be of Norwegian descent and have chose a old family name to pass on.

She`s spoiled because the tantrum she threw. You can tell she is used to things being handled for her. That was completely unnecessary and I would never allow my two boys to pull that kind of crap in my house.

"completely spoiled brat.

pretty much sums up the current generation."

How is she a spoiled brat? She`s having a tantrum like any tired toddler might do. Her dad didn`t give into her and continued telling her to put the bowl on the counter until she actually did it. The parent of a spoiled brat would have picked up the bowl for the kid.

Wow. What a douche-bag family.

Not only is the little girl a manipulative little douche-bag, but he parents named her "Keer-Sten" which means they are pretentious douche-bags.

She`s almost over the tantrum part about halfway through, then she slips.
Thumb sucking AND a binky? *sigh*

The Dad did well! He didn`t `negotiate` or offer to help, both are really DUMB but parents do them all the time! You WILL NOT win a negotiation with a 2 year old! lolz!

@Monosandalos that is a stupid argument. I agree it`s a woman`s body, but tell a man who`s GF is going to have an abortion and he doesn`t want her to that he can`t have a option. See along before he kicks your stupid a$$.

All kids do this in some form, this isn`t entertaining at all, it`s one of the most annoying parts about having to keep a child around. My niece pretends she "lost her hands" and hides them behind her back and screams and my dumbass sister does nothing about it. At least this guy has some follow through.

I think the Dad handled it really well, the kid realized the jig was up when Dad got out the video camera. Hehehe.
