    I love when gorillas at the zoo come up and bang on the glass. I realize if they got out at that moment, they would kill me, but it`s still cool to watch. Or staring directly in their eyes. I love apes.

    The pupil did not dilate, it constricted just the opposite. This is probably due to the accommodation reflex where the pupil constricts when focusing on near obejcts.
