Link: If You`re This Person, You`re A Dick - Put a little effort into it, ass. Your dog would do anything for you, loves you unconditionally, and then there`s you.

Maybe he or she is injured or handicapped? At least the dog is getting to get out and move, like yusuksomuch said, its more of a dick move to not walk the dog at all.

I`ve seen that before. Here in Germany you often get cyclists "walking" their dog.

This would be a good contender for, "this is why you are fat America."

Let`s be realistic, that person is FAT

This is horrible. So many dogs get killed this way. This person should lose their license.

Laziness is forgiveable (to an extent).

This kind of behaviour deserves a loud round of applause, from a large group of people, while the person in question stands at the bottom of an avalanche prone spot, during a blizzard.

That`s no excuse to endanger the dog.

Really a horrible idea. It`s not the best idea on a bike, either, but that`s more for YOUR safety.

For some reason this picture aroused in me a murderous rage the likes of which I have reserved for child molesters, rapists and serial murderers. This picture, and any picture I see of a fat person on one of those motor wheel chair things.

Umm..really? Can you by any chance prove this? Did I miss the rash of "dog killed being walked by owner while owner rode in car" stories?

When I was a teenager, we had a neighbor who walked his Great Dane like this. He always stopped to let him piss on our mailbox, and the grass was dead for 2 feet all around it. So, whenever I came home late, I would walk over to their house and piss on their rose bush. It took me a while, but I eventually killed it.

Yeah...I thought about it. But I lost faith in humanity long ago. I don`t know what to say, I just doubt it.

I remember someone doing this when I was young and my Dad told me that they were probably training their dog for dog fighting.

Though it is dangerous, it is exercise. Though I would`ve stuck with the bike still... Faster than walking and safer, and if your dog is well trained, not an issue.

there`s got to be something better than this to do with the dog. what about flyball? or hiring a couple of teenagers to tire him out? if you paid real money, you could get a variety of teenagers to exercise the dog.

Actually, this shows good care for the animal, since lack of exercise leads to many pet health problems (weight gain etc). Too bad the driver doesnt get that he would benefit just as much from the exercise (unless he is unable to do so)

Lawndarts - It`s extremely dangerous for the dog. He could be hit by oncoming traffic, get a paw or more run over by your tire, have the leash get caught and strangle him.

@Armauld. Hmmm, I see your point. Where I am from, some dog owners do this, but on rural roads on the outskirts, not on city streets(no traffic). And they keep the speed down, making it less risky. But I do see how the pet could be harmed...
