    The description is incorrect. A 39 lbs cat is the cat equivalent to a 39 lbs human since, you know, 39 is equivalent to 39, not 600.

    So 1 cat lb = 15.38 human lbs??? I thought that was stupid when KRQE news used that same comparison.

    Actually the scale is correct. A two year old child should weight 28-30 pounds.

    @Lawndartsftw
    It`s common for an oversized cat to be diabetic actually. I interned at at Vet`s office for only a few months, but while I was there a few fat cat`s were put down. Owners would come in to have their fat cat put to "sleep" bc of it`s medical issues. Silly part was, the 3 I`ve seen there were orange. Made me lol a lil.

    My mother`s two kitties are very fat, like 25 pounds fat...however they run and jump and do the stuff a normal kitty would...except lick their own butts..they can`t do that.The two cats are very active (believe it or not) they don`t eat people food nor do they eat anymore than any other cat...I don`t know why they got so large...

    ...first cat I`ve seen that likely has diabeetees...

    My Sylvester had diabetees! For 3 years I`d whack him with insuline twice a day! He was such a good kitty, Mr Personality! Loved by everyone who met him!

    He was a big kitty! Norwegan Forrest Cat! Weighed 19 pounds "slim and trim" and 22 pounds when plump! lolz!

    In those 3 years treatment went from rather primitive to really good!
