My daughter had a tantrum like that once. I threw a pot of cold water on her and laughed at her. She went ape-poo, but at least she had a reason to cry and act like a jerk.

Piperfawn, there is no doubt my grandbaby will be raised the biggest spoiled dork on the planet! Baby sized star trek uniforms, Star Wars diapers, Quidich movile over the crib... :-D

Hey unknown I-A-B reader! Have you see what Gerry say? Do this baby quick! I allready immagine Gerry with the little brat in his cave creating some spaceship model.

My daughter does this all the time now... Ive learned that when I join her she realizes how silly it looks and stops immediately.
She also learns that her father is an idiot and has no problem acting like one in public... ;)

@ leesah - people who want to send the video to grandma for a chuckle... then post it on YouTube and hope it becomes viral and makes enough money for college.

I would smack the absolute poo out of my kid if she did this in public. Otherwise, I`d just wait it out. At home, she can cry for however long she wants. I have patience. Giving her what she wants when she`s screaming and flailing around only makes her throw more tantrums.

oh good god, is this what i have to look forward to in 1-1/2 years, or less? i am way to freaking old for this! and unlike gerry (hope you get a grandbaby soon!), i can`t smile and send the kid home, she`ll be mine.

what kind of mindless hell have i signed up for??

Very informative. I will attempt to use this as a negotiation tactic with customers.

@ leesah - you willingly watch a tantrum because there`s not much else to do. If you give them any recognition at all it just makes it worse.... WAY WORSE.

jesus christ please give one solid reason why anyone would willingly watch a toddler throw an annoying tantrum. Is this taking care of anyone`s boredom or do we all want to strangle the next two year old we see?
