Way to fail at inciting a riot and sounding like a complete a-hole.

Riots started on a Wednesday, April 29th.
I would have been in class, 7th grade.

I`ve seen a crowd change to a mob just like that. Mob mentality is real. We`re all just animals at heart. I`m sure the people that were in the riots are still trying to figure out what the hell happened to them that day.

@Baalthazaq

He was drunk though and had lead the police on a 115 MPH chase. As for the PCP they say it was because of the length of time between the incident and test he exibited all the signs of being on it including not being affected at all by a taser.

I was at home laughing my ass off at these morons destroying their own neighborhoods and perpetuating their stereotype.

Solvent, did you even listen to the song in the video? It`s by a white band who called themselves Sublime. It`s about their participation in the LA Riots. It wasn`t just black people, though understandably, they were the ones most pissed off about Rodney King`s beating and the Police not getting charged.

5 Cats you had 20 years to do your research:
PCP test came up negative.

Why is it every single drating time, your opinions line up directly with what happens to be being said on Stormfront at any given moment?

I was 18 and wondering why one person being wronged was ample excuse to commit arson and theft.

really like that solved anything? black people just playing the race card, it was kind of bullpoo what they did to rodney king, but it just keeps in a vicious cycle of playing the victim and then acting like a criminal because they don`t know any better

When Rodney King got up off the ground and attacked the cops, they should have just shot him.

Actually it will be 20 years as of this coming Sunday. The riots started April 29th, 1992, which is the actual title of the song played in the video. But during the recording Brad Nowell, singer of Sublime, sang the wrong date(April 26th), but they liked the rest of the take so much that they left it as was, mistake and all.

The MSM referred to the "racially motivated beating of Rodney King"

WTF!?!?!!?

He was HIGH ON PCP! He attacked 4 cops, they tried everything but he would not stop!
One of the cops was black, but that doesn`t count.

ffs, just let them destroy THEIR OWN neighborhoods and be done with it.

Time to re-read `Burning City` by Pournelle and Niven. A pretty good fantasy set in the LA area 14k years ago. Rodney King and O.J. Simpson are heavily alluded to in it as well as the recurring riots.

Aaaahh, Memories. That takes me back. Rodney got what he deserved. Unfortunately, the cops didn`t. Also...very suprised with IAB...no stereotypical gorrila or animal ref`s...yet. Where`s old ollie? And of course, another "amuuurica" from 8bit. like europe hasn`t ever had riots over something stupid, like um...soccer.

I was at work too - fortunately that was 2000 miles away from this stupidity. I`m not siding with the cops but I never could understand why, if you are pissed off at the courts and police, it makes any kind of sense to trash your own neighborhood and light parts of it on fire.

I was at work.

I like it when the so-called-experts go on the news to discuss this stuff and they try to give pop-psycho-social reasons for the riots. Outraged and injustice in the courts they stole licquor and tv`s.

Makes perfect sense.
