    Sounds like the opening to 2001. I would love to put one of these in a forest somewhere it would add some strange ambiance.

    Finally some installation art that makes some artistic sense. Now "plant" an entire forest of these things with slight variation in build and send pmarren there, chained to a concrete slab, somewhere in the center and hope for a hurricane.

    @Shmoo, hummm, it`s easily creepy enough to be Lovecraftian! I can`t recall a specific story that dealt with sound, but I haven`t read him in decades...
