What I don`t get about this series is why everyone has a ridiculous name.

@msieg007--Don`t. I`ve heard that the writing is awful, the characters are shallow, and they are very obviously aimed at young adults.

The only reason they`re so popular is that most of the world can only appreciate books aimed at that age group--you know, without deep concepts to distract them.

They`re very easy books. If you like reading, you could read the series in a few days and be done- but don`t expect a masterpiece.

Maybe it`s not the most well written of books and maybe it is for young people, but trashy books and chick lit of the past are all over modern literature courses and there are whole modules devoted to children`s literature
It`s a fun read, very page turning and yes you could see it turning into a more grown up story very easily so the adults can just find that bit themselves and read between the lines

I loved the books, they were really easy reads and I got through them fast because yes, they are actually youth novels. There`s no sex and the majority of the violence isn`t graphically detailed but it`s a good story and it pulls you in. I read all three books in less then a week. I just really appreciated a book coming out for teens that was more "FIGHT THE MAN" then "MY BOYFRIEND LEFT ME *DIES*"
