"It`s not a lie that this video was ignored by the liberal media, they didn`t vet him then and they say,"Who cares" now like it`s no big deal."

This video was ignored because IT IS no big deal. A black man in college in the late 70`s was a black rights activist. Stop the presses!

You are so stuck in opinion media that you can`t see that this is sensationalism. I`ll once again point you to my site Cable News Must Die. For when you are ready to give up this ridiculous lifestyle.

The problem is when Robert Byrd died, the left vilified Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConell over honoring him, because of Byrd`s kkk past, even though both Obama and Nancy Pelosi honored him as well.

It`s called hypocrisy, the left is full of it.

What a shock Madest that Brietbart once again does deceptive editing. It is a joke that anyone calls him a journalist. Spinning the truth is a lie. He was a liar all for the purpose of dividing the nation. You can`t get much more un-American than that.

I was talking about my behavior once again you are having problems reading. Sure in private I have called Bush stupid, a war monger and a Fascist but I never stooped to SCFan`s level.

And "I can do it because someone else did it" is not a grown up excuse.

madest: It was originally edited by the PBS show Frontline, they show both versions on the link I provided. Of course Frontline only used part of the footage to show Obama as a leader, they cut off the audio of him praising Bell.

Bell`s `critical race theory` and his racialist book were never mentioned in the story, only that he was supporting a black woman for tenure.

It doesn`t change the fact that Bell was one of Obama`s favorite professors, that Bell was good friends with Jeremiah Wright, or that they all believe in radical `black liberation`.

The civil rights movement was from 1955 - 1968

Obama wasn`t born until August of 1961 and was 6 years old when he moved to Indonesia. He didn`t return to Hawaii until 1971 at age ten.

So please tell me, how young Barrack Obama was part of the civil rights movement at that age ?

"Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies." Groucho
No prosecutions of the wall st titans, withdrew from Iraq on the same timeline of Bush planners, bailed out the banks(just like Bush), passed out billions of taxpayer dollars to his friends(campaign donors) and their business ventures(just like Bush), assassinating american citizens(new ground), etc., etc. No he will not be one of the great presidents, just another politician like so many before

The guy has been President for 3 years now, if you need a 20 year old video to figure him out, you have some problems.

Of course he hung around with radical black activists, he grew up during the civil rights movement.

If anyone is wondering, of course he will be more radical in his second term, that is what Presidents do.

You know exactly what I am talking about 5Cats. Don`t twist my words around. I have never said such horrific things about any President as SCfan did. You can hate a President but there is still a level of respect that is given to the position. There is a line you don`t cross. It`s called loving your country. And I will admit some liberals have crossed that line in the past and I feel an equal amount of disgust for them.

You sir, are a genius. As a former republican, I still consider myself on the conservative side of the middle, only slightly. IE I think abortion as contraception is wrong, but support legalizing the green stuff, its better than booze. However, the current hate speech being spoken by the far left and right and being spread by their sheep are going to cause this great country to fall on its face. It actually causes me stress to hear both sides repeating the slander without looking for the actual facts. Usually only a google away.

You`re at the age where you have no excuse not to respect the office of the Presidency. I`m not a big fan of Bush but I respected the position. If I ever met him I would be respectful. How do liberals not draw the line that your utter disdain is steeped in racism?

5 Cats:
93% of Americans think this isn`t news. This is not an issue now AFTER it was released, why would it be news in 2008?

"The hug" is just another nonsense story like the flag pin, the mustard, the sandals, the teleprompter, the cigarette, or any other non starter that Republicans frothed at the mouth at.

There`s the Attorney General saying right now, that "Due process is not judicial process". Yet you think THE HUG is news? Goddamn.

I cannot fictionalize more inane bullpoo than the stuff you think is important. He wears clothes? He... looks good in green? He... brushes twice a day?

drat me. I have a home movie of my nephew saying "Yellow". It`s been available for years. YET IT`S NOT ON THE FRONT PAGE! Why?

This specific type of race baiting sensationalism was the reason I stopped watching and reading opinion media.

What I realized was if the conservative opinion media could make people believe it was OK to verbally attack their fellow man (black people in this instance) what was the liberal opinion media getting me to do and say? I have been opinion media free since Nov 6, 2010. It was amazing how much my mood improved once I removed myself from the negative environment.

Before anyone else says anything racist please just stop and think about what you are doing.

When the media takes regular events and relationships and sensationalizes and spins them to paint a more entertaining picture than reality, you HAVE to do things like make attempts to hide or downplay relationships, since they are just going to exaggerate the truth anyways. The media has more of an influence on our opinions than the politicians real life and views

So of course the MSM will focus on... nothing!

This is what is wrong with the media today. They do not follow the standards of journalism anymore. It is all about emotions designed to divide this great nation of ours.

These type of stories are specifically designed to make it appear that black people are prejudice with the intent being that this allows Fox News and the likes to freely throw out subtle racism against the president. The Southern Strategy is alive and well - attack black people to get the racist vote. It is sickening.

I watched the 2008 campaign very closely and never seen this whole video.

Also, nice try at trying to change the subject, but I`ve always said the birther thing was a distraction from the real evidence of his radial education and radical associates.

Of course you don`t know who Derek Bell really was and you`re not going to educate yourself about him, you`re just going to keep drinking the liberal kool-aid.

I mean I would really love to see how a devout Muslim, who loves Allah so much he wants to ban ALL religion, including Islam, in the name of his staunch Communist convictions acts.

It would be like discovering the mythical unicorn or better yet *Centaur*, a creature so absurdly at odds with itself it couldn`t possibly survive in nature.

I think it`s pretty safe to say, that many colored/black/African Americans- whatever is politically correct these days- flirted to some extent with the more radical elements when they were younger. Big, damn deal.
Wouldn`t you, if you were discriminated against for an irrelevant and insignificant thing such as skin color? And don`t kid yourself that it doesn`t happen in these `enlightened` times.
A better thing to reveal is, what monies our politicians- ALL of our politicians take on a daily/weekly/monthly/yearly basis, to sell out our nation and desecrate the spirit and intent of our Constitution.

So the man writes some crappy science fiction (which quite honestly has the same premise as the now so popular Huger Games) but makes great strides and awareness in the civil liberties movement. Obama hugs him which is apparently some unspoken black ritual of accepting every idea someone stands for and is the equivalent to hugging Hitler.

So if hugging a civil liberties leader is akin to allegiance with the axis of evil. What is it when Rumsfeld shakes the hand of a genocidal dictator? Obviously not a war crime.

Boy, when Sean Hannity breaks the news, you KNOW good journalism will follow.

To today`s GOP, "radical" means "fighting segregation and discrimination against blacks and women." Yep, this is your GOP, America - people who think blacks shouldn`t be oppressed are "radical."

Wow, Obama hugged a law professor who spent his career fighting segregation, beginning as the only black lawyer in the DOJ, continuing to fight segregation in Mississippi with Thurgood Marshall, and who I believe was the first black tenured law professor at Harvard.

Obama`s speech and "hug" occurred after Bell took a leave of absence to protest the lack of women and black professors at Harvard Law.

Derrick Bell was "radical" because he thought Harvard law school should have at least ONE black woman professor in 1991, and more than five black professors (there were hundreds of professors at Harvard).

Talk about race bait
