...very happy to kill things for no reason at all. Yet you would bleat like stink if your kids got mowed over by a pissed off driver for being all over the road.
I`m sorry, but are you *actually* trying to equate the relative morality of killing an aggressive animal with a child being mown down by a bad/mad/drunk driver?

Wow- you lot are pretty vile- very happy to kill things for no reason at all. Yet you would bleat like stink if your kids got mowed over by a pissed off driver for being all over the road. Its a goose- leave it alone or make it back down- its not bloody hard FFS.

This looks like it could be recorded at one of the buildings where I work: Same landscaping, same outdoor benches, same everything.

We have this problem every spring when the geese are nesting. You can see the female in the upper left portion of the screen for much of this video, incubating the eggs. The Facilities Dep`t usually surrounds the nest with a perimeter of orange cones and yellow tape once a nest is identified.

Frankly, just called they`re Canada geese doesn`t mean you`d tick off many Canadians if you simply shot the buggers or something. We`ve got sh*tloads of them - and I think that is exactly the right term - in Canada and all they do is endanger airplanes and mess up parks and beaches. There IS a limit.

We once had a whole gaggle of the things by the road, pooping everywhere and making it a nightmare to try and get through them to the school bus. One day, someone ran them all over with their car. We don`t know who, but the cause of death was, ah, rather obvious, to say the least. I have to say, no one complained. Much as I love animals, those things were downright evil! Sometimes I had to go through the trees to get around, and often they would chase after me! I`d understand if I disturbed them, but even when I kept my distance, they would honk and charge. Nasty things. They were snow geese, not Canadian geese, though. Actually, in my experience, the Canadian ones were far more pleasant. No joke.

We got em` all over the place where I live. They`re considered a pest, of course in a month or so they`ll be out and about with little goose families. I know of a guy who killed one and then barbecued it, apparently they taste pretty good.

Geese are a-holes. Kicking them hard in the gut usually stops them from attacking.

I usually deal with one goose like that every summer. Last time I got my 8 year old nephew to go harrass him. My brother got pissed at the goose for biting his kid, then the goose bit my brother a few times. It was hilarious, next time and get it on video and show all you guys :)

idk why the GUY is saying "eh?" like a Canadian, the goose is Canadian, eh?

Origional description: Don`t mess with Canada, or our geese...

@madduck if they`re really angry, they use their skull as a club, hurts! Otherwise yeah, they`re mostly bluff.

how can people be scared of geese- they are not exactly scarey- yes will attack but they are not heavy- those bones being very light. just make your arms up sideways into big wings and wal forward hissing. They will back away from the larger gooses unless they are protecting young- in which case just back away...

Poor, poor Puss.

No, they won`t take out a Honey Badger.

If you get attacked by a goose, crouch low, hold your uncoordinated hand in the air over your head and wave it and when the stupid bird gets close, lunge and with you good hand grab it by the throat and swing it around and toss it.

In all seriousness, they`re vicious wee buggers, geese. I`m not sure if that sign you posted was in jest, Gerry, but there used to be a whisky distillery round about where I grew up that had signs posted exactly like that one. They had a herd of geese to patrol the grounds, and those birds could raise quite a fuss and do a lot of damage whenever interlopers occasionally foolishly tried to break into the grounds.

I laughed but felt bad about it. Geese are mean! When we go feed the ducks I keep my son as far from those things as possible
