Well done! Useful for all sorts of rescue, not just soldiers.

Whoever invented/perfected this deserves to get rich!

Cool, but it seems like a lot of wounds would be aggravated by this.

$79 +$7 shipping, a bit pricey for something that weighs 0.77 lbs.

Maybe, but it`s probably a lot better than a firemans carry. Can`t imagine how bad it would hurt being hauled around like that with a gut shot

"People just now thought of something like this?"

The problem is this backpack wouldn`t work with US forces current mtv`s. Either our vest dimensions would need to shrink, a lot, or this backpack would have to be a lot bigger. Coupled with the fact that I was usually already carrying something back there, this clearly wasn`t a US funded design as it would fail horribly for our current military.

Well, in an intense fire situation, the priority is moving to safety, not immediate medical attention.

Great. America should buy lots of these. Preferably combined with zip-lock stay fresh technology.

1:05 --- on the wall. SERIOUSLY? How is that necessary, and not considered extremely racist? Why don`t they add a bob marley poster, and a chinese flag too?

I wonder if the harness allows for a reverse-carry position for conscious casualties who have only lost mobility due to lower body injuries. Also, a wounded and panicked casualty on your back may present a serious risk if they get their hands anywhere near your face. Think: drowning victim. You pull them from behind for a reason.
