That would be easy to fake.

Very hard to do for real, without a chicken head, at least.

"IIB, did you watch the video..? The scenario posed was getting BUMPED by OTHER people. And the test shown was of a person dancing...not falling over drunk :P"

Faaaq did you read your own comment, the scenario was of getting bumped by other people, NOT falling over drunk. How does getting bumped translate into falling over drunk to you?

This is a good idea because no one could ever possibly bump into the beer or the robotic arm.

If you spill enough beer to pay for one of these things, you might consider just buying a sippy cup.

it seems as though they`ve put chicken head technology into a robot arm thingy

I guess these things have been around for a while now. This video is like an hour long, but if you just skip around, you can see it in action. It`s a training video for the steadicam.

It actually wouldn`t surprise me if that were a real machine. Robotics has gotten pretty good, and in the video you see the beer move a little, but not a lot. If it`s cgi, it was damn impressive cgi. Either way, I want one.

The device is called a steady cam. It`s what they use while filming and moving at the same time.

Wrong @OutWest! The gov`t makes MORE tax money if you spill your beer than if you don`t. Undoubtedly there are Revenue Agents planted in clubs and bars who jostle you ON PURPOSE so you spill your beer.
True fact!
(lolz!)
What @I-Is-Bored says is true also.

If you`re spilling your beer everywhere you clearly had too much already. That`s just how nature tells you to stop.

"I think our government should provide these at all establishments as needed."

Government can only provide things that it takes away from someone else.

Very Cool idea. I think our government should provide these at all establishments as needed.

The savings to our environment would be grand. Can you imagine the amount of water, malt barley and hops that are wasted every year that could be saved?
