That is truly incredible. And that ambient music just makes it a million times better.

    Love.

Mesmerizing. Just mesmerizing. This is why one of my goals in life is to see the Milky Way with my own two eyes.

    Pooptart19:
I have to assume you`re a city boy, because all you have to do is get away from that sodium glare that pinks up up the night sky. On a clear and moonless country night, lie on a grassy spot -or a chaise longue- and look up. As your eyes adjust, the Milky Way, Magellanic Clouds, the steady glow of planets, all become clearly visible. It`s a simple goal to achieve!

carmium: Too much light pollution in America to see anything but the brightest stars. Need to go to the desert to get a view like that.

I-IS-BORED, you know what I mean, ass.

carmium, I`m no city boy; I`m from the suburbs, but you try and see more than two dozen stars living so close to Atlanta. And I`d be able to achieve my goal sooner, but life has me being pretty busy right now, and I can`t exactly take time off to travel out to the country, so drop the tone.

Light polution is robbing people of the experience of looking at the stars. Cities should turn out the lights at night, eh?

The Europeans built it there so they could observe the southern skies and see cool stuff like Orion standing on his head (1:58).
