Also, someone should tell that foil hat wearing reporter that there`s no such thing as a conspiracy. I mean, who would get together with someone else to plot wrongdoing in America? It doesn`t exist.

Okay so they have the word of one guy who obviously gave up some friends because he got a deal and he got a deal because he basically gave the cops the goods on himself by not shutting up. I see a lot of credibility issues in the source of said info.

I`m going to take a wild stab in the dark and say that they only have that one guys word as proof. I really don`t see them being so careless as to leave proof of who did what and when. I`m sure they`ll charge them with something, but I doubt it`ll be anywhere near what the real list of crimes reads as.

Monseger can officially kiss his ass goodbye lol.

Also "Anonymous" is too much of a club for the cool kids IMO, although its definitely a better alternative to the random bombings of the 20th century. I do sincerely hope that with the level of technology and freedom of information (and propaganda) that people indeed know the facts and motivations of the battles they fight. Dont be sheep, dont be pawns.

I really don`t think this will do anything to take down Anon and I hope it doesn`t. Though everyone may not agree with everything Anon does, we need a force like this to keep the powerhungry businesses, government and such accountable in some sense. We need someone to watch the watchers and I doubt if any of these arrests will be enough to cripple Anon...at least I hope not.

Anon..noo!! I really like anonymous :c Even though they did bad things they were still awesome, and stood up to the government when they took down Megaupload.

Rat on a gang/cartel: you`ll be on the run for the rest of your life to avoid being fed alive to someone`s rottweilers following a few days of general torture.

Rat on anonymous: you`ll be on the run until you realize that the worst they can do is hack your cell phone pics and DoS your facebook page.

The guy who ratted on them looks like a Grade-A douche, and if his wannabe-gangster ass was near the top of the organization, that`s not looking so great for anon.
Yeah cause it`s totally a good thing that the ONLY GROUP FIGHTING FOR OUR RIGHTS took a hit. fan drating tastic.
Fighting for our rights? Exactly what rights did they protect when they stole Sarah Palin`s personal credit card information and published it on the web? What great liberty was secured when the hacked various banks for our private financial info?

Go ahead, explain how that protected any of our rights. I`d like to hear that explaination.

Think back, besides kevin mitnick (who loved attention) do you ever hear about the hackers again after being caught?

Now why do you think that is? Digital indentered slavery ftw!

There`s probably more turned, scared-poopless former hackers working FOR the gov`t than AGAINST it at this point... The bravery doesn`t seem to last long when they get nabbed.

Maybe they could launch another DDOS attack. That shows EVERYONE who`s boss!! I`d respect them more if they didn`t something real.

Quite frankly, for as much "good" as Anonymous does, I don`t really care. You still have to follow the law and not be a dick about what you`re doing.

The people who actually make a different in the world don`t make a big deal about it and they aren`t malicious about doing it. Taking down a website for a company, government agency or religious institution is illegal and just generally a dick move.

I`ve got no problem with a vigilante group taking out pedos or Nigerian bankers. I`ve got no problem with hacker groups trying to help organisation who have asked identify security flaws.

Maybe if they weren`t such dicks about their "freedom fighting", the "establishment" would turn a blind eye. You don`t see the FBI going after spambaiters do you? What I hope is that enough will come of these and other arrests that Anon. will "grow up" so to speak and do more good than harm.

Anonymous has done a lot of good. They`ve shut down pedophile websites, exposed security holes, made the public aware of what Wall St. was up too. The dude is a snitch and snitches are not respected.

She starts off her bulletin by saying the FBI have arrested top members of lulzsec.

surely she should have put the word `alleged` in there somewhere....they`ve not had a trial to determine their guilt yet.

Not so tough now? I didnt realise that a few self entitled idiots saying they are under the name "anonymous", purely to try and get out of jail time was tough.

i`m pretty sure the government loves Anonymous. Let`s think about it... these are tough time in the states, and when the times are tough, people rise up against the government.

Now here comes Anonymous, the hip and trendy activist movement. What do they do? They post youtube videos, slow down traffic to some webpages and help organize camp-outs in NYC. And they`re a self proclaimed "leaderless organizations" so they`re basically not going to progress any time soon.

And the people love it... those who want change follow Anonymous like they think they`re part of the Arab Spring or somoething but nothing really ever gets done.

And the government loves it too. They`ll arrest a couple people here and there and come out and call Anon "terrorists" but really, they`re just sitting back laughing about how they really dodged a bullet.
