@crakrjak not sure how this conversation came up by the contraceptive pill is one of the most cost effective preventive medicines we have. For every dollar spent 4 dollars is saved, so the insurance companies actually spend less money, lowering the baseline cost of insurance.

This is sick. I`m going to my caucus and will propose a vote to have all votes read aloud; and I will follow up to make sure they are accurate. I want my vote for Ron Paul to be counted.

madest: Shifting the cost, of contraception, to the baseline cost of the insurance, still means they are having to pay for contraception and it has ZERO support from the Catholic bishops. Obama`s continuing appeasement of the left is what is going to sink his campaign.

His collusion with `Media Matters` will likely rescind their NPO status. And previous benefactors like Susie Tompkins Buell, one of the democrat party`s most generous donors, are keeping their checkbooks closed to Obama.

If your flock was dedicated to your cause then they`d not ask for contraception. You can`t trust your flock to do what you command of them then somethings wrong with your message. Obamas move was brilliant and has overwhelming support. Checkmate!

If Paul doesn`t get the nomination for GOP, Obama wins his second term. Romney and Santorum are a joke.

Shocking that your fake crocodile tears mimics the line that FoxNews has been pushing. Truth is many of the churches complaining today have been under the same requirements from their respective states for decades. The hypocrites crying about this issue should be joyful that we don`t live in a society where a "moral objection" is enough to dictate where your taxes go. If we did live in such a society, the military would be operating on a shoestring budget provided to them by the same people who who have a problem with this.

The only way for elections to be trusted is to list who voted for whom, so each person who voted can see that their vote was counted correctly.
You can`t trust a corrupt institution being honest.

Which he offered exemptions for.

Oh, great. Just what Ron Paul supporters need--another conspiracy theory/excuse to rationalize the fact that nobody in the real world buys Ron Paul`s insane paranoid ramblings
Umm what? Pointing out the size of our government is being paranoid?
Doesn`t matter, neither Romney or Paul will get the nomination.
That`s not certain yet, but if it were true it means Obama gets 4 more years.

It`s not a "conspiracy theory" when it involves an actual conspiracy.

@CJ, I hope you get your wish and have a Santorum nominee. His landslide loss to Obama would finally end the social part of conservatism.

This is less about Paul and more about the state of the GOP`s massive dysfunction, GOPers did essentially the same thing in my neck of the woods when they lied and obfuscated about Santorum being the actual caucus winner, it was so bad the leader of the whole operation resigned.

It may just be that Paul won Maine (I can`t believe I just said that) but radical outliers aside, he wouldn`t particularly care anyway becuase of his loony toon "All Your Delegates are Belong to us" loooong shot strategy.

This is news pal. Sorry you don`t like it but when news doesn`t get reported you end up with leaders like George W. Bush. Stay informed but feel free to choose the candidate of your liking. Santorums retarded and will never be president btw. Looks like Obama has a cake walk before him.

@smaus, Ron Paul doesn`t have a chance at becoming the pres b/c he doesn`t have a chance at becoming the Rep candidate. He doesn`t have a chance at becoming the next Rep candidate b/c the GOP keeps doing things like this. The GOP keeps doing things like this b/c the Rep voters/sheep stay silent about these kinds of things.

Obviously Ron Paul`s chances at getting the Rep nomination this year are slim to none, but it would be nice to bring light to this kind of corruption in an effort to end it so that, in the FUTURE, candidates who are independent free thinkers who aren`t controlled by the GOP and Tea Party can run without as many shenanigans.

@Gerry1of1 - "State officials gave a date to vote, Feb 11. The county can`t override that and do it a week later."

You are incorrect. The county officials didn`t override the decision, they received permission to delay the vote from the state officials. The state officials reneged on that agreement.

In the other two counties, the state officials offer no specific reason for not accepting their votes.

He`s been losing to Santorum, Newt and Mitt for some time now and your putting voter fraud articles about how he got cheated in Maine? Really Maine. Maine has 4 electoral votes and has voted statistically democratic in the past.

Please stop turning into fox news.
