We spend a lot of time bitching about politicians and how they are failing at bringing jobs to hard workin` `Muricans, and crying about how the big bad one percenters drated up the banks and sent all our jobs overseas. However, we don`t spend much time talking about one of the main features that made America great in the first place. (Yes, I said America`s great. My opinion. No apologies.) We didn`t become awesome by needing someone else to babysit us. We dreamt poo up and got others to join us in various endevours. Our generation doesn`t need to worry about the politicians or the one percenters, we just need to remember we got a pair of balls, and get out there and chase dreams.

"As for the jobs thing, they DID go overseas to India and China and other nations. Once again "fact" is called racism in politics."

It`s a fact that wealthy business interests moved the jobs overseas to increase their own wealth, NOT that foreign people took them. Big difference.

I just think it`s racist that foreign people are, once again, the only representatives of this dynamic.

A french guy with a french accent while speaking english is not racist... so why is an chinese chick with a chinese accent "racist"?

I bet if I tried to speak Cantonese I`d have a horrible accent.

As for the jobs thing, they DID go overseas to India and China and other nations. Once again "fact" is called racism in politics.

As for the candidates implication that his reduced spending would somehow cure those problems, Well that`s a Pie Crust Promise - easily made, easily broken.

Re. Suicism:
It`s not the "broken Engrish" dude - `tis the coupling of `stereotypical foreign-types` with `domestic employment issues` that`s the problem.

At first I thought, clumsily cliched. But the "me take-a your jobs" turned it racist bound.

Hey thanks to Debbie, China is learning english so well they need to force their accents and bad grammar. Good for them! Reelect Debbie!

CHINA IS NOT DOING GOOD. There GDP per capita is like half of mexico. The vast majority of people are dirt poor except some people in the cities. If it was that good, people would be moving to China. China takes some of our jobs but they are the cheap labor jobs which leaves the better jobs in America.

you people really need to buy a dictionary.....or at least the app. you have absolutely no idea what the definition of a racist is. you just use the word whenever you see something that doesn`t appear politically correct to your sadly misdirected intellects. ignorance is not a virtue. i could go on, but i`m a little tired from working for a living today. you should try it, it`s way more rewarding than living off of entitlements Gerry.

Why on Earth would this be racist? Having a person who is, as far as I can see, quite possibly Chinese representing a character who is, by necessity in the story line, Chinese.

I can see how it might be nationalist, but anyone who thinks this is racist has no idea what racism is.

Should they have hired a black guy?

(oh wait - Asians aren`t allowed to portray them either..)

Let`s see -

Anyone from rural regions of China, if they had the opportunity to learn English at all, would probably do so in a broken fashion such as this.

Females who ride bicycles (despite the obvious actor portrayal) exist in China

ATTRACTIVE rural females who ride bicycles may exist, to a lesser extent, in China

People who look Chinese would probably be the best choice for representing a member of the Chinese population, and yes, do also actually exist in China.

Ambient music involving dulcimers and pentatonic scales, which are commonly associated with Chinese culture, do also, yes, actually exist in China.

The combination of these elements embodied in an individual satirically expressing their gratitude for the increasing availability of jobs in their country which may have once been filled by members of the American citizenry? For the purposes of an anti-outsourcing message to the American public? What do you want, Fancy?

True, although there are technically more english-speaking people in China than in the US.

I see nothing racist about this. Show me that there isn`t one single (hot) chinese girl who ever rode a bicycle through a rice paddy on her way to the factory where she makes $5 a day assembling crap to be sold at Dollar Tree and I`ll change my mind. Oh yes, and ugly old politicians suck.

Not really racist, just ignorant.

The ad implies that if elected, he`ll stop spending money on SSI, Medicaid, public assistance programs, and education. This will in turn bring jobs back to the U.S.

Only the very stupid will believe that.

What exactly is the implication here...that Democrats are shipping our rice-growing and bike-riding jobs overseas? Wouldn`t setting this in the dormitories of Foxconn be more appropriate?

Fear-mongering targeted at those who haven`t taken classes in macroeconomics. BTW: China`s economic forecast isn`t much better than America`s. The saddest part of this ad is that it will utterly work. America is the modern Rome... First we overextend ourselves globally, then compensate for the lack of funds by cutting education. The undereducated masses find scapegoats and replace knowledgeable politicians with home-spun provincial hacks who decry "elitists." We had a good run; not as long as the English or Romans, but a good run nonetheless.

I find it funny that there are three recommendations at the end of his video for boys high school wrestling videos. I think he has what it takes to be a Republican Senator.

The message isn`t racist. The idea that the candidate is forwarding isn`t racist. The broken English stereotypical portrayal by the female Chinese narrator *is* racist. To deny that is to be ignorant of what racism is.

Now, if we want to discuss whether or not the candidates slanted, ignorant claims are correct or not, that`s a whole other issue.

I often wonder, do American politicians ever tell you their policies? Because every advert I`ve ever seen is either a smear campaign or some bizarre rant delivered in a forest. I can`t imagine British politicians even taking their tie off, let alone doing these strange commercials.
Not saying our people are perfect, but they just don`t do this stuff.

Well, it`s not necessarily racist so much as it is conservative fear-mongering. Kind of entertaining considering how any fiscal conservative would tell you you`re an idiot for not using cheap chinese labour for production of your products.
