With Gyroscopic self-leveling pool tables of course.

@TypicalJerk That would require a giant gyroscope, and Im pretty sure it was designed to take the weight of someone leaning on it without it moving.

I say get rid of anything as unnecessary as that is and use the $$ for a few extra lifeboats...

What would happen if you lean on the table :)

So. . wouldn`t it be easier to just make a whole room do this? I bet it takes a lot of patience just to take a decent shot.

@freddyferret: I here ya, but there is nothing I have ever heard about a cruise that tempts me to take one, especially the free doses of Norovirus.

lol i got a pool table at home and all the balls always end up on one side of the table. maybe its because we also use it as a workbench. idk.

@burbclaver - I`ve been on cruises before and never had it that bad. Either you somehow don`t notice it or the waters just weren`t that bad. I couldn`t feel it rocking, I could only see it on the top deck watching the railing against the horizon.

I`ve also never seen a pool table like that. I`ve been screwed!!

@Jendrian: It usually isn`t as bad as that. Usually there`s a thousand naked old people having sex everywhere.

Some cruise ships are being stabilized as a whole, by using Voith-Schneider propellers. These are vertical blade propellers, which can eliminate rolling (evidently it costs energy to keep the ship upright permanently)

One more reason I never want to take a cruise. If the table is staying steady it shows how much the ship is rocking.

that`s pretty awesome (and quite probably uses more space technology than gyros), I wonder what its limits are...

Doesn`t it just take the challenge out of the game?

Awesome. Would have been more awesome if the whole room was like that so the players wouldn`t have to adjust to a constantly moving table.
