David `Homeless` Mustard covers Creep.. Incredible

He wasn"t even there to sing anything; he said he could sing, they got him a guitar, their jaws dropped.

Very mediocre version. Not terrible, but not very impressive either.

It`s a four chord song, so nothing difficult there. And he left out the bridge, witch is the hardest part of the song to sing.

I don`t like the huge hype over homeless people having talents. of course they have talents, most everyone does. Just because they are talented, does not make them immune to messing up and finding themselves with nothing.

Added a little soul to it, I approve. It`s not like radiohead ever plays it anyways.

@jamie76

So just because I didn`t like his cover, I`m all of a sudden a closet bieber fan? Yeah, let`s go around and make half assed assumptions about people on the internet, because they disagree with your opinion.

I think that was amazing not because the guy was homeless but because it was a once-in-a-lifetime performance of that song. That`s the kind of magic that, when you hear in a concert hall, everyone jumps to their feet and applauds thunderously. You listen, and if you`re lucky, sometimes it`s great music, well-played. But sometimes it`s magic. And this was magic.

@ tedgp, Well, i suppose I was quite moved. It has an element to do with his homelessness, but more to do with fact that we spend our lives moving between people. Those you past are people, as you acknowledged.

This song epitomizes what I deem to be a great human story. Daniel after been given one opportunity by a closed group of people has been given the opportunity to change his life. He is now not homeless, kicked his drink and found a new breath of life. Nothing to do with being vain, or that he is homeless. Ill reiterate, why do we focus upon meanless things throughout our lives, when simply acknowledging others can discover such amazing things and examples of great human beings.

And yea if he wasnt homeless he would still be amazing, I dont think we can argue hes not talented, (although each to the own and all that).

says some kid who was probably listening to justin bieber just a couple years ago till puberty forced you to deny that you ever liked him...right now secretly you still have his CD`s under your bed right next to your "special time" rag.

Pretty damn good. I`d spend the day on the corner watching him play while throwing quarters at him.

tedgp: I see your point. And I think it has a lot to do with people not thinking of homeless people as humans with talents and personalities (for example, it`s `okay` to ignore a homeless person when they try to talk to you. It`s `okay` to not want to shake their hand). So it may seem `amazing` to some when they discover homeless people are in fact people too. Yes- it`s vain and out of touch... but I catch myself thinking it too (and I work with a lot of homeless people).

Also- I thought it was a great cover. Except for when he cleared his throat all gross.

Why is this on here? because its a guy that can sing? If he wasnt homeless, it wouldnt even be noteworthy. So why is it noteworthy when he`s homeless? It`s still the same person.

Are you really that vain or out of touch with reality you think it`s amazing because he`s homeless?
