I kayak all the time, those waves were nothing and certainly not more than you face during an average beach launch.

    cool to see that though!

The correct answer is that this incident may or may not be directly related to climate change, but climate change is still very real.

@davymid, I must be retarded too, because I want to go.

Penguins had enough sense to run while people stood there looking at the tsunami.

    ...climate change...

This goes on all the time and it`s because the glacier is expanding, not retreating.

Who cares if it`s climate change or not. Wish you preachy partyfouling soapboxers would STOP making every teeny tiny cool video into a The World is Doomed talk. We all know what climate change and greenhouse gases are. You`re about two decades too late to be cool knowing this stuff so just knock it off.

If the penguins are running away from something, humans should follow. *This is Bush`s fault, I`m pretty sure.

"Penguins had enough sense to run while people stood there looking at the tsunami."

When I saw it, my first reaction was "Run!" If you see local animals like penguins (or Asian elephants in Thailand) pegging it away from the shore to high ground, you`d be best off following at a jog/sprint.

I can imagine when the meteor hit, a bunch of dinosaurs with Californian accents going "Woah dude, look at the wave."

herp derp, look at the pretty wave! It`s so giant. Lets all stand on the beach and admire it while the animals run away.

It`s odd that the animals always know to run away from giant waves when humans are supposed to be the smart ones.
