Some people are claiming this is doctored footage, I-A-B. What"s your call? Looks legit to me.

Not fake, just a well experienced biker on a well worn route.

Did no one see the conjoined twins video that showed up in the suggestions after this video? How is that related?!?! I watched and it was....strange......

Whole buncha things, but not doctored.

1: It`s a dirtbike, not a motorcycle. There`s a whole different set of handling characteristics that go with that, not the least of which is better traction on loose/slippery terrain.

2: Like Kain1 said, wide-angle, almost fisheye lens makes the dropoffs look a lot more impressive than they actually are. Very few ridges maintain much more than a 90° peak.

#: Balls are not in evidence, therefor gender is indeterminate.

He`s using a wide-angle lense which makes the dropoffs look much steeper than they actually are.. so no not that ballsy..

Front wheel not turning (0:10, 0:20, 0:30, 1:10)
Just saying..
Oh, he was driving only on his back wheel, front wheel in the air.

Gerry i hate to say this to you, but just because you`re to scared to do something, doesn`t make it stupid. People who do these things are just willing to sacrifice or jeopardize their lives in an attempt to truly live. There is nothing stupid about that.

fastfxr said kind of what I was going to. Quite probably it`s just the fisheye effect from the helmet camera that makes it seem more improbable than it actually is. Pretty cool though.

It`s in western Colorado and it`s real. Keep in mind that most helmet cams distort the image so it`s not as crazy as it looks.

My son and I do this all the time...search for "5MOH" or "5 miles of he*l" and "dirtbike" and you`ll get a glimpse of real insanity.

"Why isn`t his head moving, it is completely still?"

Cause the camera is attached to the helmet?

Ballsy or just Stupid?

I love motorcycles, grew up with them. But riding along a cliff edge is about as smart as playing chicken with a train.

Legit, if you actually ride you know it is.

It`s real it just looks hairier in the video because the camera gives a view much different than the actual view of the rider. This is also a real repost...

Can`t you go anywhere on this planet without some clown with an engine ruining the peace and quiet?

@Skittzo - he`s doing that to try and keep traction on the snow.

Why do people think that`s fake, just because they wouldn`t do it themselves. It`s perfectly plausible, there`s a fairly decent track to ride, it just so happens that there`s a significant drop either side.

Looked good to me until around 1:18 where he appears to just wiggle his handlebars back and forth. I dunno. Kinda suspicious.

Skate videos always use fisheye lens like this vid to make it look bigger/more insane

Legit, just the camera angle and being mounted to a helmet gives it a strange look and confuses easily confused viewers.

The only thing doctored about it is the choice of a lens that makes it appear steeper and more narrow than it actually is.
