You could also do compressions to the beat of "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen. Same beat!

effectiveness of cpr :-
2% to 30% effectiveness when administered outside of the hospital
6% to 15% for hospitalized patients
Less than 5% for elderly victims with multiple medical problems

When I was CPR certified they taught me to do compressions at the rate of stayin` alive also. I think it`s because that song is SUPER memorable and has a BPM of around 1oo BMP.

LMAO That look at around 1:04 was creeeepy. Hell, Nobbinz, seeing Vinnie knotting fists over me might just jump start my heart without him actually having to perform CPR in the first place.

He didn`t so much play football as try to kill everybody on the pitch around him - in a good way, of course.

Trying to think of anything I would rather see less during a heart attack than Vinnie Jones leaning over me and knotting his fists together...

Nope, can`t do it.

Hehe, I never knew he played football. I will forever remember him as Bullet Tooth Tony from Snatch! And the one guy back there was Erol from the same flick.

People usually don`t go into cardiac arrest because they are healthy..
Its a little bit higher than 5-10%, still, its better than 0%.

@patchgrabber: A friend of mine was able to keep an elderly man alive that had collapsed in his yard until paramedics arrived a few years ago. Unfortunately he went into arrest again and passed away.

A former football (soccer for people in the US) player in a video called "Hard and Fast". Sounds like a bad gay porn.

Oh, and having "Stayin` Alive" playing in the background is just icing on the cake.

Too bad CPR only works something like 5-10% of the time, but hey, I guess it "beats" doing nothing at all.
