I have never been so lucky as to see it, but "winter lightning" does happen! I`d say Holy Smoke too!

THUNDER AND LIGHTNING ALL THE WAY

Seriously though, lightning during a snowstorm can be pretty incredible to watch. Usually snowstorms come with a thick blanket of clouds, so the lightning lights up the entire sky. It`s cool.

For people saying its just lighting or someone hasn`t seen it before. Its rare and typically the conditions aren`t right for lighting to strike during snow. I have never seen it. I mean if you think about it if you life in a area that gets snow etc. from like october on you hardly ever see lighting storms during winter let alone when its snowing haha.

Sometimes, when I drink a lot, I spell as poorly as IAB posters. Either that, of this was a delightful pun on how snow makes every thing white, thus LIGHTENING things.

"That`s actually pretty impressive considering the fact that electricity does not like the cold."

What are you just blurting out anything that comes to mind? This is a pretty idiotic statement. Matter of fact, its so untrue, im inclined to call you retarded for thinking that posting it even makes sense.

Just an FYI, the LHC is running at temps lower than -200c.......

    Barium becomes superconductive at -256.

I could go on but, really why should I when a 5 year old could tell you why that statement is false.
