Nobody uses leetspeak anymore. The days of having to fit everything into the 160 character limit so you wouldn`t go over into a second text and have to pay again are long gone, everyone`s on contract with a billion texts a month now.

Oh dear, my teenagers usually wake me up to explain how drunk they are- if they sent me that I would be clueless..

If someone sent me a text like that I`d assume they were still drunk.

Because you always have to add you parents to your friends list

Or you can put a mirror program on your home server and be able see everything they do in their computer.

I love how these shows try to crack the teenage code. but dont they know that when the code gets cracked teens will then change the code again leaving the parents unknown to the activities unless they check FB. Because you always have to add you parents to your friends list

News companies: Stop trying to "decode" text speak. It`s not nearly as complicated as you make it sound.

Parents: Stop reading your kids` texts. You`re an assh*le and you need to realize that your kids are going to have to make their own mistakes in order to grow up. You just need to be there to help them through the fallout on the worst ones, and try to guide them towards doing the right thing.

@badfish52596 if you don`t know 1337 it means you are too young, not too old, because it`s form of communication some poser dinosaurs used to write their usenet posts.

My brothers use weird words I`ve never heard, they`re still teens, so they know the words, and I don`t think l337 is part of their vernacular when they text.

Also, they taught me the word grenade when talking about an ugly chick...which is contrary to a beautiful girl being a bombshell.

This is bullpoo, know one rights like this and who the hell lets their parents look at their phones, I wonder if their are manatees just picking balls with ideas on them out from the bottom of their water tank that are coming up with poo like this. Yes this is a South Park reference :)
