SOPA is a done deal. Corporations paid for it and they will have it or political heads will roll.

But come on! After seeing how the internet help people in Egypt and Lybia do you really think they are gonna stop here and not control more of the net? Wake up and smell the homeless. Government control never only increases.

You can`t stop Hackers and Pirates. They ALWAYS find a way. Its the layman who is not the cause of the problem that is going to suffer, but government doesn`t care what the people want, just what the corporations (ooops I mean bigger people with rights as they have somehow managed to classify themselves) want.

    Government control never only increases.
By the people*, for the people*.

(*Note: People in this case is referring to the large corporations that have enough money to overrule the opinions of the majority of American citizens and no morals to prevent them doing it for their own benefit at everyone else`s detriment.)

It makes me sick. The entertainment industry acts like it`s losing a ton of money, when the truth is that most of it is money they never would have made in the first place.

It’s to bad we don’t live in a democratic country. And there is nothing we can do about it.

Doesn`t anyone understand that the government isn`t concerned about Hollywood making more money?

This administration has been involved in more censorship of the American people`s rights and violations of the U.S. constitution than any administration or President before it.

This isn`t about Hollywood, they want to take our rights away. The internet is seen as a threat to our government because it is where protests are organized and free speech thrives. If S.O.P.A passes it make pass under the guise of "better profits for corporations" but people need to start calling it what it is, the largest censorship of our freedom of speech this nation has ever seen.

Funny that it is called "protect-ip". By "ip" they must mean "intellectual property". But its "funny" because "IP" also stands for "internet protocol" which is being poo on by the protect-ip legislation. And by "funny" I mean not funny at all.

Is this some meta joke? Referencing a piracy act by pirating your own site and posting THE EXACT SAME VIDEO from like 8 posts ago?
