Amazing that the "internal investigation" actually did anything, but a "letter of reprimand" is a joke.

Want to fix this kind of problem? Find the cops and give them a dose of their own medicine. If they think they can do whatever they want because of the authority granted to them, then we should teach them that we too can do what we want because we, the citizens, are the very source of the power they claim.

EgalM not everyone has ID. You have to pay for them...they`re not free. There is no law saying we have to supply them. Plus, you are not even American. So just mind your own. Here the cops are paid to protect and serve...not bully and harass...

You clearly don`t have any concept of civil liberties. Human beings would appreciate it if you leave these matters to people who care about their rights. If YOU want to be subject to random screenings by the police and wish to to be bent over, fine by me.

This person does not deserve to be an officer. He abused the badge and should be fired after review of this tape.

Saying "no" is not a crime. Know your rights.

OH man, a strongly worded letter as a reprimand... That seems a bit excessive

<i>Maybe people should stop talking back to cops<i>

Yup. Probably best to avoid eye-contact too. Just stare at the ground and say `Yes, sir.`

Maybe people should stop talking back to cops and maybe, just maybe, they won`t be so pissy all the time. As for the ID, just F`ing show it shut up, would you pull this crap with Airport security? Doubt it!

I`m not a big believer in eye-for-an-eye, but in this case, if every time a cop mis-used a taser or pepper spray, he in turn got sprayed and tazed then they might stop doing it. Oh...and punch them in the head too.

...and let that be a lesson. If you commit another felony aggravated battery, I will reprimand you a second time!

"A formal letter of reprimand".

Funny, how you can taze a random dude and then be punished by getting a letter. How about a good ole kick in the nuts?

Maybe that will sinks into the bonehead police officers, the USA manages to hire.

"Letter of Reprimand"? This is assault, and the man should be fired, or at least suspended without pay.
